Hey, guys. I just bought a new 1125R and plan on taking it to the Orlando this Friday. Until I get my service manual, I need some quick help. I want to take the shift light controller off my Warrior dragbike and use it on the Buell. I need to go to the ECM side of the coil stick on one of the cylinders. How easy is it to get to? Again, without a manual, I don't want to start tearing into it without at least a simple roadmap. Thanks in advance for your help. Glad to be on the team. Sam |

not likely to work the ic is on a serial data line, from the ecm, it includes the tach IIRC, one of the coil pulse trains perhaps not easy to get to. good luck |

The tach needle does act as a shift light. I understand if it's not optimal for drag racing, but maybe you can tap into that signal. KeS |

Thanks. I'll look it over when I get home. Hopefully, my service manual will be there when I arrive. Thanks again for the help. Sam |
