Nooooo, that was still the prototype can. I just did that one because the thing was just laying there, looking all lost by itself. I needed to make sure of how it would look before I tried messing with yours. PS. Your parts are on their way, might get here by Friday. (Message edited by d_adams on March 16, 2010) |

Can we get a better video? The one you posted has bad quality. Also, are you making you own quiet cores now? (Message edited by Wastegate on March 16, 2010) |

Wastegate -- I'll try to get a better one on the next build. I've been swapping stuff around so much I might need a new set of headers soon. I haven't really thought about an option for making it quieter than it is, but I could probably make something in either mesh or screen form. I'm hoping to make it to the homecoming this year, so maybe you'll get a chance to see and hear it then. It's really not that loud, it's just really deep in tone. It can be rode without ear plugs, although I don't recommend it. Wind noise does more damage than you think. |

I'm a young kid with D adams exhaust installed. It is true you do not need ear plugs it has that V8 stock car sound its deep not loud. I had the FMF i needed to wear them that thing was loud. I only put plugs in now for long rides because of wind noise and my arai helmet is super loud. |

Btw, I had my wife weigh the RT Type 3 can a few minutes ago, it's 4.75 lbs. I'm guessing the collector weighs 3-4 lbs, so the total weight is under 9 lbs. That makes it at least 10 lbs less than the stock can. Damn Froggy, I just dropped it off 3 hours ago, you're 1000 miles away. Not sure what the deal is with UPS, it shoulda been there by now. |
