That was an xb thing. You only have engine oil to check. Motor oil is shared with the gear case |

No need to call him a troll yet...after all he is a cheese head! I too would highly recommend looking at your owners manual. Then looking at your engine, if you find more than one dipstick let us know! If your owners manual tells you to check the primary you have been given the wrong one...either return the owners manual or bike!

Troll? Doubt it, I think its just a case of reading too much on Badweb and now thinking you got H1N1. |

Bingo! Circle gets a square. Take that manual back and smack the dealer. They should know better. And check out the links to the online manuals...they make my work day go much faster! Soon you too can be a self professed, all knowing, troll sniffing Badweb God! Assuming you own a black 25r...cause they are the fastest.

Spend a hour and give the correct manual a read: https://www.buell.com/om/99480-09Y_en/ Also, setup your suspension as its obviously wrong. (Message edited by froggy on March 15, 2010) |

You only need to check the engine oil. Oh, and don't forget to post the video of you slapping your dealer with the XB manual. |

No you are wrong the white one is fastest cause it reflects heat instead of absorb it. Oh wait, the bike uses its energy up with all that reflectin'. Whelp...gotta go change my blinker fluid and rotate my tires on my bike. |

Have noticed since kevin has signed up there has been quite a few "no brainer" questions asked but I guess he's a no0b to all this, so it might not be a no brainer, jw tho man if this is your first bike arnt you worried your going to kill urself on the thing? Its def not a beginner bike |

Is the DOT 4 blinker fluid better? Can anyone help me find the link to the "squeaky muffler bearing"? Enjoy the bike Kevin. |

Man, talk about ask a simple question... get a stupid answer! Can't we just help out a dude who went to an all-knowing forum with an actual question... I feel your pain Kevin, I'd like to change the oil on my 1125 but but there seems to be no correct answer on what to use (and I've owned Buells for 10+ years so wouldn't even consider myself a noob). |

If you scroll back up, the second reply answered his question. As for your question, the owners manual has the answers for you. |

"i would rather look dumb on here asking a stupid question then fu** up my bike." The correct question to avoid both looking stupid and f****** up your bike would be something like this: "I seem to have received the wrong manual with my bike. I don't want to go back to the dealer to get the correct one, is there an online manual I could download?" 'Course then you would have gotten the standard google is your friend answer..but well, if the foo sh***.. You want us to ride the thing for you too? |

I have always used Syn3 and was planning on continuing! I really do appreciate the knowledge and humor here... but it would be nice to see them stay in their respective areas. |

Really tough to miss the listing of owner's manuals glaringly displayed atop the thread listings for the 1125R/CR Board. |

Tbolt98; There are two oil research links on this newer thread, and I believe them: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/548675.html?1269285662 I'm using up the last of my leftover Syn3 after completing break-in on my 1125CR, but after that both of my 1125's will be on Motul V300. The only bike I have (out of six) that is on regular dino oil (H-D 360)and not synthetic, is my 2000 S3 Thunderbolt. I thought it blew too much oil out the breather when I converted it to Syn3, so I changed back. |
