Sooooo much fun today. Did 114mph but don't tell anyone. Hope everyone had a great day. Oh and if anyone might be interested in the stock tires that came on the CR, we are thinking of selling them. If sold locally $225, there's 511 miles on them. |

Zac is the new owner. I was hoping to get a tuber in trade but that is what I will use the 1125R for when I am done with it. |

Dan says Thank you, John. We got out for a ride today. Dan got off work early and so did I. Road down to Palmer Lake (again) but it is such a nice ride. I could almost ride that road blind folded. Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful spring weather. Snow back in the forecast for this weekend, aaaaugh!!!! |

We've been watching videos on YouTube on the new BMW S1000RR wow what a bike. If I could afford one I'd get it in a heart beat. What an incredible bike and absolutely beautiful. I'm getting pumped on getting on the track |

I have been on the 1125R most of the week for the commute. Of course, I have to find alternate routes to get home in the afternoon but the weather has been fantastic. So... looks like tomorrow is the last day to ride before the next snow. Oh and don't forget to check out the BMW in this advert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYNV3k2nsW0 |

I had a great ride this afternoon on the 1125. There was some sadness with it, though. My manager from my last job, and the guy who let me store the 1125 in his garage, died overnight from a cancer he was only diagnosed with a month ago. His wife told me just yesterday she thought the two of them would go out together on the back of a bike because they both loved speed so much, she simply never imagined this. I invited him along for the ride this afternoon as a last gesture, I'm not sure if he was there or not. But I did give him a good ride if he was! His last bike he bought off of Dave shortly after I got my 1125. He didn't get a chance to ride it much with the onset of weather. The few weekends the weather was good enough I would always ask him if he got out on the bike and he would laugh about how he got stuck babysitting his grand kids. That was the only thing that would keep him off the bike otherwise. He did know it was his loved ones who mattered most and I'm glad he spent those days with them. They will miss him terribly. He never missed a chance to harass me about my Buell. He loved to talk about how slow it was knowing he might get a rise out of me. I rarely gave him the pleasure, it was just a game. He loved the Hayabusa he had a few years ago the most. He told me he got rid of it because he once got it over 100mph with his grandson on it and realized he was just too crazy and his grandsons life meant more than the bike. I know he was looking forward to riding his Bandit with hopes of embarrassing me on my Buell. I was looking forward to that, too! Well, maybe another time. Good people, good rides, in that order. |

Julie, I figure I have a few more years on the Buell and if Erik doesn't have something new in the market the next bike will have to be a KTM or a BMW. Cost is always part of the decision process but there are some fantastic designs out there now. base model 1190 RC8 - http://www.ktm.com/1190-RC8.100204.0.html |

Did you notice the Buell-alike muffler on that bike? Seems the good ideas are starting to be adopted around the world. |

Anyone up for a ride today LOL. Spring is just around the corner. Took the day off today so at least I don't have to deal with the roads. Dan's out plowing our driveway and our road as I write. Spring in Colorado |

We got about 12" up here. It's like a winter wonderland. Can't wait for it to melt and get out on the bikes again. Looks like the sun is trying to come out. |

I think we may have all of four inches.... The roads were wet in the hood but as I got further North the more ice and snow appeared. Peterson AFB had a two hour delay but Fort Carson closed for the day. |
