Well...Just got the info from BRAG Southwest Torque-fest Adventure.

Looks like 10:00am till 3:00pm Friday October 3 is check in and On-site registration at Chosa's in mesa. Then self-guided ride the rest of friday. But no mention of dealership party/dinner. (Guess we do not even get an invite to go on the HOG friday night dinner ride LOL)

Saturday check in and on-site registration again but this time in Show Low not Safford. Then a riders meeting during breakfast at Licano's followed by self guided all day rides and return for dinner.

Farewell breakfast sunday 7:30 to 9:30 am then all day self guided rides.

Granted this is only the preliminary schedule and it is subject to change.

See you there

Dave,

Thanks for the info Dave. Hell I gave up on them. Called them several times, e-mailed them several times and never got an answer. I've also been down there buying parts for the last 2 weeks and never got an answer ...... O'well.

Must of missed your post about Arizona track day. Ya I went there but didn't ride. Just wanted to see what it was all about. Okay for Arizona I suppose.

Dave,

Did anyone from BRAG ask you or any other Buellers in the area for input on the best favored roads for these self guided rides (like they did for the Calif Touring Adventure)? Just wonderin'.

Sparky

BRAG did not ask me for any input(I am just small potatoes), but the preliminary schedule did say for Friday Oct 3 the plan is All day Self-guided rides of the Phoenix/Mesa area (Suggested routes will be provided by the local BRAG Club)

However, no mention of that for the Saturday or Sunday Self-guided rides. They did recommend you bring your Buell Adventure Atlas and an Arizona Map.

Sure hope there will be enough time between now and then for me to find that "local BRAG Club" Now where did I leave that secret decoder ring.....hmmmmm

Dave,

So what'z up with the local BRAG club anywho (not that I give a shit). Did it ever materialize or is it still smoke and mirrors (like the Buell service here)?

Jim
As far as I know they asked Cary to run it again so he is back in charge of it. He does not work at Chosa's anymore (of course you knew that LOL). But he has limited access to a computer (library)so he has not been posting. They had a table set up May 17th at the Chosa' sale that Cary was manning with handouts about the Club. But I have not heard anything since then. I keep forgetting to go over on the first saturday or whenever they are to have meetings. I still have no idea how many "active" members there are. But I believe I am still a member and I know I am not active in it 'cause I have never been to a meeting or function. Now that is "different in every sense".

Well now I have a borrowed computer and more access now, as far as the torquefest, Chosa's was supposed to email me the new press release(thats what BRAG calls it) but I'm not holding my breath. I will contact them today and find out. As far as active members, not many are very active when its 115 outside but I get about one call a month about the Club.

Sparky, you're looking at 85 - 90 for a high in the Phoenix area. Will probably be 10 to 15 degrees cooler in the area of most of the BRAG ride.

I'll be going up to Showlow on Friday for the TorqueFest. I'm not too interested in rubbing shoulders with the boys at Chosa's, or the curbs in Phoenix. I plan on riding. I hope to do the loop through alpine, luna, Glenwood, Morienci, through Hannigan's meadow, back through Alpine and Showlow on Saturday. Sunday I plan on coming back via Salt River Canyon. I'll be coming up from Tucson if anyones wants to ride with...
