Like the title says, I'm wondering if anyone can run My VIN to see what work was done by the dealer before I got the bike... I know I don't have the revised cover but it hasn't leaked yet (only 400mi.). Can I get it replaced before it goes? Same with the cluster? |

The VIN will only let people know if any recalls or product campaigns were completed. It wont have references to all work preformed by a dealer. Only the dealer or previous owner if there is one would have that |

That's exactly what I'm trying to find out... the bike sat at the dealer for a year and I'd like to know what/ if any recall work was dome! |

If there is a recall out on the bike the dealer can't sell it with out them being done if they sell it be4 it gets done they can't deliver it until it is done |

yeah, checked it and it just tells service details. Spyder ran it for me and it tells me what was done but I can't seem to open the bulletin links at the moment (think it's a problem with my adobe). |

Spyder, if it would not be too much trouble could you do this for me as well? I only have a couple months left on my warranty so I would love to have the records and make sure everything gets taken care of before the warranty expires. |

Recalls have nothing to do with warranty. If I had an open recall on my '95 S2, it would still get done for free. It's a recall - they live forever. Recall = safety or defect, no expiration. Warranty = new bike "peace of mind". |
