Just got the exhaust and ecm installed last night, sounds great! It was raining last night so I don't know how it sounds and runs going down the road. I'll try to get some pictures and video on here in the next couple of days. Looks like the weather will be better Sunday and next week. Planning a dyno run in the near future for all you HP guys. My bike had 118HP stock, hope to pick a couple more. Fit of the exhaust was great, looks good. Need to extend the front O2 sensor wire or buy another rear sensor with the long wire for the front. |

Tax returns were good to me, also got some money back for replacing my old furnace with a new efficient one. Funny that a 5inch full stainless system for my truck was 1/3 the price of this exhaust. |

Yes it is. I finally noticed that both O2 sensors are on the rear cylinder...uh...okay. I am guessing you did that. That's going to give you a false reading on the one furthest from the head and throw off the mixture to your front cylinder. I think you made a boo boo there. I think that is hands down the best looking exhaust you can get. It hangs just right, hugs the engine just right. Looks perfect man! |

The front O2 is hidden, its right where the 2 pipes come together, can't see it in the pic. The other O2 on the rear pipe is for my A/F meter, no boo boo yet. |

You can almost see the O2 in this pic. just above the lower eng cooler pipe. One of my friends took a look at the pipe and was very impressed by the quality of welds. He is a welder/fabricator and owns his own shop, does custom suspension, cages and misc. Very anal when it comes to his quality of welding, he said that someone had lots of time into making this pipe and the cost isn't that bad considering the quality. I really want this pipe but I am worried about the LEO's stopping me everytime I go for a ride. I know the pipe is loud but is it that loud? Do you have to rotate the engine to install the pipe? (Message edited by two_buells on March 15, 2010) |

It sounds loud but everything is loud inside my barn, its nice today so I'll try it later tonight and try to get some video. The rear pipe is a rear bear to get in there. Had to support the engine from the bottom then take out all the frame to engine bolts and lift the frame up to get enough room. Getting to the nuts on the pipe was still a hassle even with the frame up. The muffler looks like the rivets could be drilled out and the internals of the muffler could be modified if too loud. I have a couple of ideas for the internals of the muffler to quiet it down. |

I will be pulling the trigger on this pipe/ECU group this week. Finally got out for a ride Friday, and decided I needed to go ahead and drop the bucks. |

Thanks to whoever fixed my poor spelling of "exhaust" in the heading of this thread. It was driving me nuts but I could not get it corrected. |

That's pretty cool having another O2 boss for when you are tuning the ECM. I so want that exhaust. |

I want to know how many people will ask you if its a V4 by the way the pipes go from 4 to 2 to 1..I also think it looks awesome. |

I put that extra bung in for the O2 meter. The exhaust is loud, a little too much for street. |

Chevycummins - you're giving me blue balls waiting for the sound clip hahaha I just keep obsessively checking back. That exhaust is sure a work of art; if the coin allowed, I’d take two, one for the coffee table. |

Wow, you didn't play around. That is a serious exhaust system. Looks fantastic! I'm sure it performs as well as it looks and sounds. |

Gotta remember...that "muffler" is just one very short little glasspack. It's no different thAn the HMF, Jardine, FMF...just shorter. Read that louder. Though as others have said...very nice. I know from Fontana last year, it sounds very nice. And from my header design experience (cars only), it might just work reasonably well on the street at least when (ECM) tuned right. Mike |
