It will not bolt up, it will require extensive fabrication.

What is your intent by this?

mainly a cosmetic intent. also to have a different sound. i have a lightning and the 25r. just thought if anyone had attempted this. i would rather just use something i have than pay $300.00 for something that has no affect during normal riding conditions.

Buell spends a LOT of time developing their exhaust systems - it's more than just location. Have you seen a cutaway of the 1125 muffler? It's an apartment building inside there, totally amazing.

An XB muffler on a Loki isn't going to make it sound like an XB. The "sound" comes from the engine - pushrod, 4 cam, sportster-derived architecture. DOHC multivalve liquid cooled engines have a different, silkier, less "potato-potato" sound...due to their architecture, not their mufflers.

It would take well over $300 in fabrication to make this work. And the results would be highly disappointing.

i totally agree to tpoppa. i've just opened the original can and it's filled with a lot of things. there was an idea behind it. imho, you can make that thing louder, but not running better than with the original can...
