Especially being that you are still alive to post the pics of it. Thats an insurance salvage bike so the rider could be dead. |

Wow sorry for the major thread jack, I was just trying to get the thread started. That bike was on the Repo/Salvage bike site Copart a few months ago. I don't know the story of it. My bet was that he never had the fuel vent reroute done and it dripped onto the exhaust at 150mph and created an afterburner, the resulting force and fireball propelled the bike to 250mph then it got banned from AMA racing for being a cheater bike. |

previous owner laid the bike down. i imagine by the look of the frame that it wasn't on a flat surface. seems like a curb or some large rocks had some part in the damage. that, or the guy's boot had a bad day.

This was from the first time I dumped my CR I was offroading in it, front end washed out going downhill. The OEM tires suck in the dirt. Scraped up the pod, clutch cover + puck. |

If I had not seen it myself, I wouldn't have believed it- all of the spokes on the wheel broke off of the rim. The front wheel was comprised of discs, calipers, and sharp, jagged spokes- the outer rim and tire just hung there like a hula-hoop. Frightening. And the rider walked away... |

first set is two months after i got my 1125r (my first bike) and damn near totaled it because i did a wheelie in my high school parking lot and was going to fast then when i hit the brakes the rear tire came up and turned then it smacked a curb thus breaking the frame and tweaking everything....5300$ in damage :/ ....we learn from our mistakes...im not that big of an idiot anymore lol... the second set is from when the engine blew up, valve broke, went through the piston and took out the bottom end...but i still drove it around 3 miles home like that, SPEWING smoke enough to stop traffic on the freeway lol. enjoy you can see how tweaked it was lol.. now the engine: for a grand total of around 13k (the price i paid for the bike) in damage and a grand total of about 4.5 months in the shop, its almost been 2 years since ive had it and it still has over 16k on it...I LOVE THIS BIKE!!! now just to get the extended warranty lol Jake |
