Is there one type of spark plug that seems to work better than others, in the manual all they seem to want you to buy is the harley brand.

DCPR8EIX is what I use but some people use the DCPR7EIX or DCPR9EIX.

Here is some info on the temp ratings.

Denso Iridium Sparkplugs are top plugs as well and widely available.

The XB's take model - IXU24

Cost around ten bucks.

I have been using them for years. Get 10,000 miles out of them.
