I bought a battery tender to top off my battery last winter. It worked especially well after all of the short trips I took. Does it hurt the battery or the bike to use it after each use? |

Nope, they are made to be plugged in 100% of the non-riding time. |

Plug it in and forget it. Will not harm the battery at all. |

When I'm not on the bike the tender is. I've used it since bike was new in 06, still has original battery. |

As the name implys, it's tends the battery - automatically. Just connect & forget. It IS a genuine battery tender, right? Others may not work like this. |

Battery Tender and Battery Minder both work like this. There are others out there that do the same thing, but those are the two most recognized names. |

I'm out of the country most of the year. The first time I left I didn't use the tender. Came back and had to replace two of the four vehicle batteries and the other two were completely dead but did retake a charge. I bought a 4 bank battery tender and mounted it on the ceiling of the garage. Ran a drop for each vehicle. Last time I came home after 4 months, every vehicle turned over like I had driven it the day prior. Go get one. |
