X1 easily. But it's such a fat pig next to the Firebolt or the S1 that preceded it. |

The XB9 is quicker, revs more easer , but that’s against a X 1 with euro pulley’s , racekit & porting |

Nope, not really. However, I'm not revving it past the limiter first 500 kms, but that's not the x1's forte. So there You are. Easy's dropping by this evening; I'll make measurements for his new helmet. It's a Bieffe naked, familiar with it? LOL J. |

Really think so? Honestly; I've ridden with it for two years including Dutch winters, never had too much trouble... Guess it's the Simpson-transfer on it, then? LOL Couldn't be it takes a real man to wear one! For winter, You could temporarily tape the air-sleeves from the inside? Succes, Jill. |

My X-1 stock is faster than the race kitted XB9R at Denneys H-D Buell. So no comparo. But the XB sure is easier to turn and feels VERY quick to excelerate and stops like...NOW! Wheelies and stoppies are WAY to easy. Rode both thurs, just to compare. Tom, you just need to ride one for a while, I did about half an hour on one and my wrists and elbows were starting to ache pretty bad. But I have lots of joint problems. I couldn't do it full time. XB9S maybe, I haven't ridden one, but it seems a little better. Pilk edited by pilk on June 21, 2003 |

i have both bikes, with race kits and the X1 is WAY faster than the 9S. especially in the mid-range, the X1 has MUCH more grunt. as for comfort, again, i find the X1 more comfortable (both with buell custom seats). the 9S is 10-15 degrees more upright, and for some reason, thats actually harder on my back. but having said all that, the 9S is an unbelievable piece of machinery! if it had more power, it would definitely be my pick. i'd put on lower bars, or clip-ons though.
