I went to the dealer to order some touch up paint, while I can still get some. The listed paint color for my 2008 was Barracuda Blue for the frame and wheels. When the paint came in the color on the paint can is Diamond Blue. Frankly I don't know which is which, but my bike has the flat blue color on the frame and wheels. Does anyone know if the Diamond Blue is the right color? Thanks Peter |

I am pretty sure they are one and the same. I have seen some other parts that have multiple color names but are the same color. |

I didn't want to take a chance so I bought both the Aerosol can and the Brush Bottles. The Aerosol can was $25 and the bottles were $12 each, unfortunately there are 2 in a package so you gotta buy 2 of them so $24 total. I couldn't believe I paid $50 for paint, that's why I was concerned. Even worse is that I couldn't return it. It had to be a prepaid order. Unbelievable isn't it!!! |

I am a parts Manager at A Lexus dealership, and this is an ALL to common problem for us. Lexus has one name for the paint, but our Paint pens come directly from Dupli-Color, (as per Lexus guidelines), and the name on the pens seems to not coincide all the time, but i assure you that with our pens, the paint color always matches. |

I have seen the Barracuda Blue listed for a few parts. It comes up as a "non-released color" so I suspect it was for THE Barracuda, slated for 2011 release that was killed in the cradle. Zack |

"the bottles were $12 each" Wow I just bought a two pack of diamond blue touch up paint from my dealer for $8.50. I think the list price was 9 something. I thought the spray cans were supposed to be about $12. |

Most touch up paint is $9.45, some tuber colors are $11.85. The aerosols are $25, except XB silver which is $14.05 |

I forgot to mention, I'm in Canada, so the price difference is probably some hidden tax that goes to lubricate some politicians wallet... Peter |
