Anybody have any feed back for Precision Engineering items, I was looking to purchase new footpegs, rider and passenger, and possibly shift and brake levers of theirs. Thanks. |

Everything they sell is top notch, I can assure you that. |

My main concern is the bulky-ness of the rider pegs, anybody have/had them? It's either the PE or the LSL pegs from American Sportbike.com |

Their stuff is top notch from my experiences. The only problem I had with their GP shift kit was that part of the eye on the rear part of the arm wasn't ground down enough and I had to dremel it in order for it to not stick during the shift. It's hard to explain if you don't have one but I was able to fix it and I love the kit and the quality. (Message edited by blur on March 04, 2010) |

I have the pegs and both levers. They are definitely wider and flatter than stock which makes them a lot more comfortable on long rides. The levers are a big improvement. I didn't realize how much the stock levers flex until got the PE levers. Rock solid. At first I was not sure if the pegs matched the feel of the bike but all of my friends thought they were a big improvement in looks so I decided to give them a chance. I'm happy Kept I them. Bike needs a wash! |

I really like the PE pegs. I feel better with my boots on something with more meat over the stock ones. 12 W boots werent digging the toothpick pegs. |

I have their GP shift kit, and it was needlessly heavy. I replaced a lot of the hardware with aluminum and saved a ton of weight. Outside of that, the products seem well thought out and well made. |

I replaced the rod ends, the linkage connecting them and the toe piece with AL bits, and the bolts with Ti. I wouldn't expect PreEng to supply the Ti bits for sure, but the Al vs. SS seems sensible to me in a "race" package. SS is surely more durable, but in general on my track bike I'm willing to sacrifice something that will require more service attention for weight/performance. |

Can you put the stock pegs from an X1 on an 1125R? |
