Chris(brother) and I set out for Laramie yesterday. Got a little north of Owl Canyon and turned around as we were running out of daylight. Loretta passed 24k miles.

Cool. I'm over at Frank's right now, it's about the halfway point in the race. I'd love to see Rapp and Eslick racing for the checker at the end. |

Good race. 3 Buells in the top 20 with Higbee at 8th. not bad for privateers against factory sponsored bikes. We all had a good time watching the race at Hooters. |

Dan and I watched the race at one of our new Buellers. Her name is Jennifer and her husband is Chad. Jenn just bought our 1125CR with the high bars. They'll pick the bike up tomorrow. Welcome Jennifer and Chad. Hope you enjoy as many miles on your new bike as I have. They are a blast. We went out for a ride today down to Palmer Lake (again ). It's a great ride and it was amazing how many bikes were out today. Saw one Buell, a Lightning. There is some sand but no more the usual this time of year. Spring can't get here soon enough. |

I curious Julie, did you sell yours or Dans? It sure will be good to see you guys again. I got out on the 1125R for a little ride this morning before all the idiots came out. I ran into Dennis (Cpilot) and we had a nice chat. I came home to a broken hot water heater so a new one will be installed tomorrow. Apparently it is bad when they leak from the top and bottom LOL. I am getting an old exhaust ready for the S2T (a stock one) the race header has a hole in it. I do not know if that can be fixed or not. I have another muffler on the way but I will see how happy I am with the stock exhaust. I really like the race setup because I get around 240 miles to a tank. Welcome Jennifer and Chad. |

Congrats on the sale and welcome Jennifer and Chad. Rode the WR again today over to Golden and up lookout mt., over to I70 and grapevine road then down the canyon and home. Just taking advantage of the Yamaha on the dirty roads while the XB is waiting patiently for that new front tire to be installed. |

Hi Frank, we sold Dan's as he had installed the high bars on his. We will, however, be ordering another high bar and install it after I've had a chance to ride it both on the street and the track with the clubman bars. Dan most likely won't ride the CR with the clubman bars as it's too hard on his body. Kinda like the Firebolt, as I know you are aware of . We'll now get the cherry bomb wheels on the CR that we're keeping as we got the new tires delivered. This will be a SHARED endeavor. LOL (probably more me tho) How's your kitty doing? |

John, you still haven't put your new tire on the front yet???? Is that still from last fall??? Silly boy!!!!! Just put the tire around your neck and ride down here and Dan will help get your tire on. Or just get in your car and bring it down here. (Message edited by jumpinjewels on March 06, 2010) |

Oh cool Ryan. I think we were heading back north and you guys were going south? I told Dan that "hey, there was a Buell in that group". Too bad we couldn't have gotten together today. It was a beautiful day to ride. If it's nice tomorrow I would like to get out again for another ride. It's not suppose to get goopy until tomorrow nite. |

Man, if I did not have to stay at the house for the hot water heater install I would say we could all meet up somewhere. Of course if you all decide to go out riding as a group take some pictures. Ryan, I am glad you got you XB back together. I can see a dirt bike in my future (it has only been 35 years since I was on the dirt LOL). I will be picking up a slide in camper for the F250 (http://www.fourwh.com/grandby.htm) and my friend and I bought an enclosed trailer today. We went half on it but he only needs it for one trip (it will be a parts trailer as he rides from FL to AK in June) I will and I will have it after that. I am ready for the S2 Gathering and Homecoming. |

Wow looks like fun. We'll be planning several camping trips with our RV and dirt bikes this summer. We should try to get a group together for this. That would be a hoot. You too John!! |

Yeah wouldn't it be fun to have a bon fire and cook smores Then Lynn and I could hang around while you guys hit the trails. And Lynn could use my dirt bike and play around with it. I wouldn't be able to keep up with the guys on dirt bikes, I'm just a beginner. |

Sounds like a plan to me. This winter has been so bad for riding the Buell (up in the hills), that I just haven't got the urge to put the new tire on yet. Both sides are worn out but tread in the center for riding the freeways. Will try to do it in the next week or too. I have put the least miles on the Buell this winter in 5 years, because of the crappy cold weather. |

We got the Hot Water Heater installed and have hot water again. It was not as much as I was quoted. I did not realize they pull a permit (with the serial number of the heater) when they install it. That just sucks now that I know how to do it. Poor guys, I asked questions the whole time. I got out on all the bikes today for a short ride each. I will be dropping the engine in the S1W to put into a S2 frame that I picked up for free. I also installed a tank bag on Lynn's bike and my new Buell tank bag came today along with the enclosed trailer (thanks Chris). The S2 is a totally different bike with the stock exhaust. I like it. I need to find a compromise between the open race can and the stock can for maximum fuel mileage. I like being able to go 250 miles on a tank of gas. Glad you got that carb figured out Ryan. |

Yea Julie...99 was not playing nice. Their has always been something about Edwards that I never liked. Now I know why. Just rode the bicycle today to get back to watch the last 2 hours of Nascar. |

I will try this again. Mayv
We spent Friday back at the vets because Mayv could not keep anything down. It is hard for us to see our kitty in that shape. We got her re-hydrated and she is eating again without throwing up. You can see where they shaved her leg. |
