I was informed this weekend that the comfort grips are obsolete, won't be getting those. Moving on with fat cruiser grips used them on the s1 forever and love them. I get hand cramps with the smaller diameter OEM on my cr, the Buell comfort grip seemed like a blend of the Beston style grip http://www.hvccycle.com/Handlebars.htm with denser rubber. Does BWB have an obsolete database? Is that what happens to factory support when there is a generic alternative? dannybuell | ||

90% of the Buell accessories are obsolete. No production parts for XB/1125 are obsolete yet. There are plenty of aftermarket grip options out there, so you will be fine with that. | ||

Your in luck, the heated grips came standard on 2008+ Uly's, so they are still available (edit: I haven't confirmed if the kit is still available, but it still is available in pieces)

The heated handgrip kit is still showing as active on HD net and the kit was not listed as one of the blowout parts back in december | ||

I ordered the accessories I wanted today.I had a feeling this was coming.I was up in the air with the side fairings.I decided that if their was no lower than what good are they.Id rather buy a catylist and promote someone that is making something for these bikes.Instead of throwing money at hd /dealers that shut buell down. | ||

Just ordered exhaust manifold gaskets yesterday and they are pending obsolete whatever that means. | ||

I heard from a friend of mine yesterday who works in the parts dept. at a HD dealer and from what he told me parts are going to be exclusive to dealers only. I'm not sure if Buell Parts and americansportbike.com are considered dealers but if there are any stock items you want I'd get them now before the dealer is our only option. | ||

If anything, they are getting superseded to a new part.
Thats the way its always been. American Sport Bike purchases their stock from a dealer. |
