I know the EBR says that the race ECM fit "1125" models and I sent numerous emails to ask them first hand, with no responses thus far, and no phone # listed on their site. Anyone know first hand that their pump fuel race ecm will fit the 09' CR's? Thanks.

I don't get why so many ppl are not getting responces from EBR. I have emailed them inquiring about a few of their parts and right in the subject each time I put what I am inquiring about and in all caps i put LOW priority. and i also mention that its low priority in the email, the longest I have waited for a responce is 2 business days

: )

You followed me directions.

We need to find that thread.

There may be some folks taking longer than others (poor subject line can contribute) but I can assure you that more than 500 folks a day are getting answers.

Try that sometime.

Maybe because they don't believe that a CR will be a race-only bike? I know that the R and CR have different OEM designated ECM flashed, however are the flashes really different other than by part number?

i purchased the ebr ecu about a month ago for my 1125cr. about the same time, i had the inital service done and the latest cr(52) flash installed. i'm running an fmf slipon with stock air filter. the bike ran so good on the 52 flash, that i wanted to get some miles on it so i could compare it with the ebr ecu. also, my afvs remained at 100/100 with the new flash. yesterday i installed the ebr ecu(pump gas) and a k&n filter. WOW!!! this is is smoother and more poweful in any gear/rpm. put about 100 miles on it and the afvs are 100/100. after i got home, noticed that i had every possibe error code on the ic. send ebr(michael) an email this morning about the codes and also asked about resetting the tps before every ride. got an answer within a few hours. error codes happen because the ecu is programmed on the bench. can be cleared with the digital tech. they are working on a solution for future ecus. also, not necessary to reset tps unless you unplug the ecu. hope this helps. terry

Take it back, EBR has answered my email. I will be ordering it soon...can't wait to be able to start my bike when it's less than 50 degrees out.

Why won't yours start? Mine starts fine at 20°F.

If you can't start your bike when it's under 50, then something else is wrong.

Hard starting in the cold can be the battery itself.

They (the battery) don't like to be too hot OR cold.

Sorry, I didn't specify...Hope I can start my bike with the D&D on in less than 50 degrees, I don't think the bike likes the lean-ness and coldness.

Installed the race ECM on my CR, also have an FMF slip on, smooth as glass. Also have a GPS mounted to the bars, comparing the two and the Speedo reads the 1125R gearing perfectly, (using a GPS for a speedo), the only thing that happened was that it reset the clock and trips. Also EBR has answered every email that I have sent, and I had a lot of questions before buying the ECM.

It really should fit. It's the same one that is used on the Z06 corvette.

Hard to believe, huh? There's a battery engineer that has researched this. He tried to explain to me about the voltage reset point being too high in the ECM. If the battery does not put out enough volts/amps (?) the ECM can reset itself. He's a pretty sharp guy and I would be glad to give you his contact info if you want to talk to him about it.
