I am not any good at drawing but this is my idea if someone had the machines I am sure they could sell alot on here. Instead of the super crazy 300 talyormade ones I thought if you had a flat tube metal or even angle iron or something that went with the curve of the clutch cover and stator cover for the other side and it sitting really close to the actual case and it used the two bottom bolts of the existing clutch cover. also come up to about half way on the cap to save it in a slide. it would be cheap. Does anyone think this will work or if not what are the flaws. if someone decides to make them please make it for the rev b cover. suggestions are welcomed

I recommend you wait a little, a solution similar to that from DHM is in the works.

That's a clever solution. Only issue I see is lateral force may distort the piece unless it is quite strong...and if it is quite strong it might stress the two mounting points.

Crash force would need to be distributed or mitigated somehow. A very slick material might work well...since it would effectively lower the lateral forces to the guard.

I'd definately be concerned about the amount of force being transferred to those two small bolts in tht event of a spill..

It's a reasonable idea, but not one I'd be tempted to buy..

I believe a stunt quality frame with side panel winglets covering clutch and stator. skin as a belly pan. it would serve three protection needs; sides, fluid leakage, and exhaust. three needs served with one super object. how cool is that?
