My plan is to put a heat shield over the filters and stuff it down between the motor and frame. I'm not sure how much heat it will see and what kind of heat shield to buy. Someone put your hand on the top of the motor and tell me how many degrees F it's giving off.  I'll need to cut out a hole for the filters at the very least. I don't want something flimsy with adhesive backing. What are some heavy duty heat shielding you have used? The opening between the frame is about 8x14 inch. I'm worried anything I use is going to hang up the throttle linkage. That could be a problem.  | ||

Well if nothing else this should sound great, not convinced on achieving more power but only time will tell ! nice work | ||
