Top of page contains owners manuals not service manuals. If you are looking for a particular topic or task just ask and someone here may be able to help. Otherwise pony up the $$ to get one. |

Oops, my mistake. Can't you download them at Buell.com? Or is that an owners manual as well? |

The free pirated manual isn't even for your bike, they won't be much use, considering how little your bike has in common with the old bikes. What are you trying to do? We might be able to help with that. |

Some of the best $$ I have spent for my XB9R has been on the manual. Forty five bucks or so when I bought it and saved me much more than that, both in cash and dealer related headaches. |

You might try contacting some of the people near you on the Buell Riders Assistance Network, the list is near the top of the forum index. |

Hey i plan on buying one for my 08 XB9 but i think its the same manual so when i get it I will be more than happy to help with whatever project you have in mind. I'll let you know when i get it and you can let me know what you want to do. Otherwise as Froggy said there are people on here that can give you step by step instructions if you are specific. |

On a side note is any of the profit for said manuals going to Buell at this point or am i just further lining the pockets of the evil empire? |

You are just lining the pockets of the evil empire and their print on demand books. These books cost about $15 to print and bind. OK maybe $20. |

It's a simple matter of personal honesty. Most folks . . . in my experience . . are either honest or dishonest when they arrive here. Badweb, nor any internet site, can do what parents failed to do. Removing links is no substitute for simple personal ethics. It's really no more complicated than that and I continue to be amused by the folks who are "honest if it's free" . . but not if it's $45.00. Humans are some of the funniest beings I've met. |

um yea, ok??? anyways, I was asking about a SERVICE MANUAL not a OWNERS MANUAL. Thanks anyways guys, you are awsome. What I am trying to do is get the step by step instructions on changing my back wheel out. I bought a new wheel with a good tire already mounted and balanced, all i have to do is get it on my damn bike!! Now, If anyone can just email me instructions on how to change the tire, It would be much appreciated. Thanks anyways guys, Justun |

You want to "change the tire" or swap out wheels including the already attached brake disk and sprocket or minus the brake and sprocket bits? |

>>>If anyone can just email me instructions on how to change the tire, It would be much appreciated. That's easy. I have every service manual for Buell dating back to 1987. E-mail me your year, model and e-mail address . . . I can handle that easily. |

Justun . . . . . . okay . . . I've got it now. HINT: If you are e-mail me it always helps to tell me WHAT it is you need . . . . I got home to 9 Buell packages to ship and 17 e-mails. You almost got a parts manual for a 1989 RR-1200. Let me see if I can get your tire change stuff. |

Hahahaha . . . Justun your scans are uploading now . . . I made the mistake of margin them huge files so it may be morning . . . no problem Marcus . . we did a desk cleaning tonight and 17 Buell packages are headed out of NYC tomorrow before I go to the airport. Thank YOU for your patience. . . when you get to be my age you'll understand. P.S. - it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to harass me. |

Okay . . . see if this helps . . . The SERVICE MANUAL Part Number is 99490-08Y. Be aware that the part number I e-mailed you was wrong . . that was the Electrical Diagnostic Manual. Parts manual is thicker than a phone book . . about 400 pages of great material. |

FWIW I can't think of the site right now, but if a FSM is still needed there are down-loadable versions on line ....IIRC it costs around 10 bucks and you get to download it 5 times before it expires........... |

It's also PIRATED down-loadable manuals that those folks have stolen. Act as your conscious guides you. |
