Can anyone give a lead for bar ends. Darkhorse no longer makes Uly bar ends. Thanks. |

I suspect we're going to hear alot of "No longer made for Buells" by after market suppliers. Hell - why would they?? No more 'Uly egg laying' in ETroy. It's like watching the dinosours go extinct. I still got my T-REX Ulymobile, and ain't givin it up. |

Aren't they just 7/8" bars? can't you just get any random generic style? |

if you are using the hand guards you will need a spacer so it will mean getting a longer bolt to reach the inside handle bar lock unit. |

DHM discontinued the bar end sliders over a year ago due to not being able to compete with the Chinese junk. Anyway, I use HVMP bar ends. www.hvmp.com

I personally think the stock plastic bar ends are pretty cool... they absorb shock darned well and are cheap to replace... only meant to take one crash though, I carry a spare with the bike. |

first crash and the clutch lever broke now with metal bar end weights quite un likely to happen as it holds tight the hand guard. |

I think Jphish is right...unfortunately. Slowly we die. |

There are some butt-ugly ones on ebay. Look under Buell bar ends. I'm liking Palmer's the more I look at them. We all die sooner or later. Some of us are just going to have a whole lot more fun on the way out. See you on the other side. |

Not for a while at least. If you actually looked, you would see more aftermarket providers now than 6 months ago. Badweb recently gained three new sponsors making various aftermarket parts, and there is a ton more on ebay. |

These are $10 and work very well. Yes, any generic 7/8" will fit. If you have a Dremel type tool you can easily make your hand guards fit too. If you have ever tipped your Uly or gone down at any speed, metal bar ends are far superior to the given plastic end caps that it comes with. |

I like Throttlemeister throttle locks/bar ends.

While handlebar vibration is not a significant problem on the Uly, I found the HVMP bar-ends reduced it noticeably, and made for a more relaxed ride. --Doc |

I can't find the drawing I made with the dimensions, but I just turned down a piece of stainless rod on the lathe at work. This is what they look like:

+1 on HVMP - looks good, and does wonders for the handlebar vibration. |
