His name is Charlie, and he's from the Conway area in New Hampshire. Apparently there is a drain plug in the bottom of the fuel pump on an XB that he routed the fuel lines through. He says the pump that he added to the tanks will drain them in 25 minutes and they hold 2.7 gallons (just enough to refill it once the low fuel light goes on). He also had highway pegs mounted on that bike. I have pics of it if my camera ever catches up with me. Bryan |

Here's a shot of the 2 tank "beast". Not much detail. I believe he had a fuel pump that would pump the fuel from either remote tank to the main tank. The "tanks" were regular old plastic gas cans (by blitz)

Ok here's a couple more pic's from Erik Bryant's camera, he was on the VFR that broke down around gettysburg (voltage regulator). Oh those reliable Hondas. In this pic we have a harley battery charger saving a honda's butt To give Erik a plug, he rode from San Francisco to Rochester (via Kentucky) then went on the ride. He's making the tire guys happy this year \image

2 buells, 1 monster, 1 vfr. We tried to convince Erik B that cutting the VFR engine in half, some duct tape and some bondo would make the VFR more "Buellish". One more 12 pack and we would have had him!

LOL! Too funny...I thought he'd actually gotten a pic or two of me leaned over (we DID manage to find a couple curves on the way to the freeway). As for that blue X1 with the flames painted on it, well, after two slides that paint job was pretty well toasted. Too bad, it was really beautiful. Hopefully he'll get it fixed up soon. He was OK from both, though. Bryan |
