I would like to draw on the knowledge available on this site - as I have little experience of Sportsbikes - but I know that some of you have a lot ! Do any of you have any ideas of what bellypans/fairing lowers are likely to fit to the R/CR models ? Just looking for recommendations and ideas. Modification is no problem as I know that I'm unlikely to find something that will bolt straight up. Ideally I want to find something that can be adapted to mate up with the stock side panels that I'm fitting to my R. But I'm also looking for a belly pan to fit to my CR ... |

EBR has a bellypan that fits with the stock exhaust, it's not designed to mate to the side fairings but it "might" with some modification. Someone posted on here of a GSXR1000 bellypan they'd succesfully fitted and blended and that looked very good. I KNOW that the bellypan from the following does NOT fit with the std exhaust: VTR1000SP1 Ducati Monster I know because I have them both in the garage and they won't attach with the stock exhaust, I haven't given up as the exhaust will be changed soon I bought a "universal belly pan fitting kit" off eBay a week or so back for $30 so will have a go once I change the pipe. Depending on your budget and exhaust fitted there are a few choices available from aftermarket suppliers but none (as yet) designed to fit with the Buell side fairings. |

I hate how unfriendly this board is. And Cherry bomb, that one you posted isn't a belly pan, its a chin fairing. If he is looking for a belly pan for racing, that wont do. |

I'm hoping to pick up that Eskalation chin spoiler later in the year or next spring... maybe arrange a group buy on here. Love the looks of it |

Yeah there are some not so friendly one here huh, At any rate I will risk getting sued from a euro company to save my fellow Buell riders some serious cheese. Plus it wouldn't be a 100% copy.. Just like China does with Honda bikes,I'll make mine just enough different that it won't matter. Plus mine will be lighter and half the price... |

I'd rather have a functional belly pan. For racing that fits to the factory side panels |

this is clearly a pan and not just a fairing. so, you guys promote copyright infringement here openly and that is fair then? because it's a german nobody-company and it's expensive? sure it is, because it's no mass-production. but they've designed it and they deserve it. that was just the most stupid idea i've ever heard in this forum. so why you don't just engineer something by yourself? imagine, somebody would do that with an ebracing-article. everybody would jump here madly... i'll pass on the link to this discussion to the guys of eskalation... I must admit the "euro company" comment was (IMHO) dumb.. some of your fellow Buell riders are europeans... |

it's only a pan if it will hold the fluids the engine pukes out. That's a fairing by the looks of the photo. Regardless, carbon copy someone else design? Pretty lame. The China excuse is even more lame. Move to China if you envy their manufacturing style. |

Does your 'pan' cover the full length uf the exhaust? Looks like it only goes about half way. Dont get me wrong, it looks awesome and if they were $100 I would get one for the street but If you are riding on the track and they need a bellypan, that wont cut it. |

Well then Cherry berry & Jules, By fellow Buell riders I meant riders here. I'm not shipping anything across seas. I guess Ill keep my FN mouth shut about helping folks save money.. Its ok for people to copy Buells stuff and sell it as after market but, you can't copy the after market stuff.. Sounds pretty FN stupid to me.. I wasn't saying make the same piece. I was saying making a lighter better piece from their shape.. Thats what all the after market body people do from the buell parts right??? |

Geez Illbuell hasn't made anything yet... and probably won't, but that doesn;t stop the so called Do Gooders from jumping all over him for an idea... none of you have a right tom say anything, until illbuell actually makes a product and tries to sell it.. until then everything is talk. You guys across the pond need to relax... |

You'd think after 45 years I'd be used to it by now Does anyone recall where the Gixxer 1000 bellypan I thought I'd seen on here is? I tried the search fuction but drew a blank. |
