I superglued it back on after scuffing up some of the powdercoat with sandpaper. 7000 miles later it hasn't fallen off again yet. I have one from a '99 S3. Court, this thing sure flapped the kickstand in those three or four times I took off minding too much at the same time. Interesting that it's straight. Mine had a banana shape. It gets a banana shape from contacting the ground. There is a "wear" mark on it. Should be no problem to find one at a dealer.
