Nice! I don't think I have ever seen a Wing lean that far!
I know that area fairly well. I have been down several times for bicycle rides and rock climbing at E-Rock. I know we will not be bored. Looking forward to camping at Lost Maples or there abouts. Seeing the trees would have been a plus, but we are just going to ride and camp. Get the cobwebs out so to speak. Thanks for the pics. |

i asked on the main forum but i thought i would ask my local brothers (and sisters).... has anyone painted there bike and could give me some info on how to prep the plastics. this is a project i want to do over my christmas shut down at work so i am trying to get all the advice i can. the info i need is prep for the plastic and is there a paint type or company that is prefer over another. i am doing all on my own so i am leaving the frame and rims the way they are.

Batbeyond99, drop a pm to Rainman1ne. He's painted his bike a couple times now & works at a local body shop so should be able to give you some good tips/pointers. |

Below is a copy of an email I sent out to the MC Hooligans members I had on file....
"Hey Hooligans!!
Any of y'all planning on going to Homecoming?
Dates are set for June 16 - 20, 2010.
Tickets are being sold for a dinner and concert by Erik Buell and his band for $35! We need to gather up 150 pre-orders to lock that hotel in ( which is a perfect setup for our needs )
So any who are headed that to WI in June, please go to www.buellhomecoming.com and pre- order your dinner/concert package.
It's very crucial we get 150 orders before 12-28-09!! Otherwise the hotel can not promise us the lower room rates and the area for Mr. Buell and his band to play!
This will be my first year to go! Can't wait!! Also maybe a group from DFW can get together and carpool or share rooms. My trucks already full, but there might be some of you hooligans that would want to share some trailer space to save some gas money or just want to have a riding buddy up there.... Just an idea.

That was me having a bit of lunch. I didn't see the first bike go by, but I did see a red and a black CR. Gave ya'll a big wave and got one back from the last rider. You guy's were headed west on 455. I'd just finished a ride around the lake and had to stop for something to eat before heading for home. |

i was on the red CR - i kinda raised my arm in shock haha, as i saw another 1125, rare around here - they all went somewhere during the fire sales but i never see them - the 2 CR are from plano/mckinney, the guy on the R i work with and he lives out east |

I got my black CR on Halloween. I had to drive to Memphis to get it.
I live in Mansfield and ride with a group that heads southwest.

I rode up that way on Dec 21st. 677 thru St. Jo and Capps Corner then 373 back down to Muenster. Rodes were good, no damages due to drilling activity. I'm at work so have fun and be safe. |

We made it to St Jo, then we wanted to check out the windmill farm upclose so after a few wrong turns, back tracking, off roading and iPhone mapping we made it, then took 373 down through Muenster all the way to 922 and took that back to 377 and 455 - did 300+ miles today - only casualty was my left side mirror glass decided to abandon me - oh well |

Any of you guys headed to Homecoming this year?
My previous plans flopped, so I'm looking at all my options as far as getting up there and rooming.
I have a Chevy Silverado but no trailer, and 3 extra seats.
Let me know if anyones headed that way and if you'd like to split costs.

nice. I have asked those guys AT LEAST four times to contact me if they got any 1125R's in. I even bought a CR from them in November. Oh well picked up a 2010 white a week ago. |

I have an 04 XB12R in the garage I picked up in last November. I am no longer allowed to visit a dealership.

The weather is perfect now, not cold and not blazing (yet) - we need to get a few group rides or get togethers planned.
Any thoughts on when or where? I know this board covers a decent sized area so maybe a weekend ride? Dallas to Austin or San Antonio to meet up with some Buellers down there. I'm up for anything.... |
