R U sure? There has been a set of s2 rear isolator mounts, the ones w/ the kickstand set screw, from the same town listed for a while, but I don't know if it's the same guy. |

It is NOT the same guy... I inquired. The S2 is still for sale. Owner indicates it has 10K miles and is in good condition. |

Damn margaritas...but I thought only '95s had the white frames? Or was that S2's were white, S2T's were charcoal? |

So who's going to take the plunge? I wanna do this, but not only is it a stretch for me on the initial purchase, but I know I would want to get right in to bringing it up to speed with basic maintenance and "fixes." Ka-ching........... :-) If it's not me, I hope it goes to a fellow Buell lover. |

The 1996 S2 had white frames. You are correct Joe. S2 - White Frame (1995 - 1996) S2T = Charcoal gray frame (1996 only) (Message edited by f_skinner on February 25, 2010) |

Thanks Frank. Couldn't remember if the white frame carried into the second year or not....but then, the other working brain cell couldn't recall seeing a color other than white, or S2T charcoal....thought briefly about that wonderful coffee brown on the S3's, then remembered it was on the S3.... |

Thanks Fahren..... Long day Fahren, for 2,500 you cannot go wrong. If you go through and replace the consumables (Belt, bearings, isolators, tires, wheel bearings, clutch cable, change oil, filter, tranny fluid) and even if you have to do a topend job you are looking at around 500 - 700 dollars total worse case, if that. If he took care of it much less. If I were closer I would jump on it. |

According to the Signature Series numbers only there is only 200 1996 S2s running around. |

My bad, different bikes. The other guy, Dave, got $650 for his S2T frame with title. Ya' know, Vincents got taken apart like this years ago, engine off to some other project, frame parts scattered to the jumble after wrecks, etc. Such is life. |
