I saw that helmet on their website when it first came out, I think once it comes time to replace mine I might be looking at Icon I have come to love most of their product |

Some people buy helmets for the graphics, I buy Icon cause it saved my noggin once already in a high side. Can't think of a better reason not to go back. Insurance replaced my helmet with the Domain Decay. If you decide to go Icon, the higher end helmet liners fit 7,000% better than than the alliance series. Suomy, Shoei and ARAI = AWESOME but can get really pricey. |

Everybody has a different shaped head bone. That's a fact. You can stuff a square peg into an oval hole. Well you can...but either the peg or the hole is going to be complaining Arai fits me and HJC fits me so I keep going back to what I know. I like the Icon styling...would be perfect for some Cosplay at a Manga festival. JK. Look forward to your review Ill. |

I kind of like the Robot Skeleton Army look. But the voracious alien look isn't too bad. |

I haven't tried many different helmets but I have a Scorpion EXO400 and it's really comfortable on my head and it held up well in my recent crash. If my insurance will replace it I will go back with another Scorpion. Anyone know if insurance covers leather jackets too? |

I am guessing it would depend on your policy, but it could fall under "accessories?" If you have a good agent, they could give you tips on how to bury it in the coverage. What kind of jacket did you have? Always like to see what works (or doesn't) in an accident. |

Progressive comes with $3000 standard in coverage for your gear + accessories. You would have to check the details of your coverage to see what you got. |

"Progressive comes with $3000 standard in coverage for your gear + accessories. You would have to check the details of your coverage to see what you got." I imagine they should. when i got a quote from progressive that wanted just over 3k/yr for full maxxed coverage... for me and the 1125.. Geico was more reasonable.. Back to the thread......... i had a Army buddy that was called dark helmet since he put his helmet on backwards and then spent 30 mins trying to find the NVG mount... When the other crew member couldn't find it either, they turned the lights on (were flying at night), fell down laughin, corrected the helmet mistake, installed the NVG's and have been teasing him ever since...He's an E-7 now i believe, maybe E-8 and his nickname is Dark helmet |

Only covers helmets cause they are meant for one time use only. Not jackets. I just got State Farm to get me a new helmet after the wreck and they would not cover the jacket. I dont know about progressive. What I do know about progressive is they wanted to charge me 900 a month. Yes, thats 14,400 a year for full coverage. State Farm full coverage for me is 80 a month with a now 500 deductible. Maybe they do cover jackets but I wasnt about to pay their premiums to find out. |

Hogzilla: It's a full leather jacket from "6th Gear". Extremely comfortable jacket. Has a zip-out liner, vented sleeves and sides, padded elbows, shoulders, chest, abdomen, and back, and reflective piping on chest and back. Best of all it was only $200. Will definitely buy another one like it. Haven't seen it yet so don't know how it held up but it sure saved me. Will let you know how much damage it suffered tomorrow. |
