Hi fellow Buellers, I'm running with the stock headers 2,5" and a D&D exhaust Slip-on muffler and I'm considering buying only the D&D Race Header and I was wondering if there might be a different muffler for the D&D full system. I don't know if they have different length/measures I know the full race system uses a much different 2 into one collector and I am not sure entirely if my slip-on fits on it. I just wanted to check that first before ordering the pipe. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any help. |

It is different. I had to cut my D&D can apart to get it to fit. I am switching my bike over to straight pipes and could be talked into selling my hole D&D set up. I am building my own exhaust system. The pipes are stainless and in good shape, they have about 6,000 miles on them. They are off of the bike right now and I can send pics if you want |

To answer your question, yes the D&D Header and muffler combo has a different muffler than the D&D slipon for stock and race headers. Here's a pic of the full system I have. If I get some time I'll get a side by side shot for you.
