Anyone have a link for adjusting your clutch? I just got my leaking cover fixed now its hard to find neutral with the engine running. It shouldn't be to hard to adjust huh? |

I think all you may be able to do is bleed the clutch line. Do you have a way of lifting the rear wheel off the ground (i.e. a rear stand)? If so you could put the bike in that position with the engine running in first gear and pull the clutch in. On pretty much any bike the rear wheel will continue to spin. If the clutch is disengaging all the way you should be able to stop the wheel rotation by safely applying resistance to the tire. That way you could test if the clutch is disengaging or not, and if that is the cause of the difficulty finding neutral. When my bike had low miles, finding neutral was very difficult until the engine came up to full operating temperature. Now it works fine even with a cold engine. |

No air in the line.. The bike still pulls with the clutch in slightly. Didn't do that before th warranty work. |

There is no real adjustment, it's a hydraulic clutch. If it still creeps, something isn't right, take it back to the dealer. Most likely cause is air in the line though. It should disengage within 1/2" of pull. There is an eccentric adjuster on the lever, but thats just for positioning to the bar. It shouldn't take much to disengage. |

Yeah that is not right at all. I have had the rev 2 installed under warranty and no issue at all with creep or finding neutral. |

A helpful hint on hyd clutches is to pull the lever back to the bar and hold it there overnight with some rope or a small bungee. If there is any air it will help work it out. If I have either my rt or ST13 sitting I will bind the clutch back to the lever just to make sure. |

$3550 subtract 7% sales tax,tag and title and its about $40 bucks cheaper than the TX deal. But, whos counting pennies..pretty much the same deal. |

Thanks for making me feel completely ass raped for paying 13K out the door for my 08 (bought 03-08). I have no love for HD. Bastards. Glad you got the issue resolved. |

I paid 12k + fees for my first (12/07), 8k for the second, and something like 6 OTD for the 3rd. All, R, not CR. I figure it's dollar cost averaging. Ironically, the first 08 is the one worth the least that gets ridden the most. It's got all kinda trick track parts on it, but wouldn't be worth $2k in the open market. It's also the one, now that it has 40,000 miles, is track only, and all I do is beat the piss out of it, with remarkable reliability. knock, knock, knock... |

ha ha I thought I was getting a good deal on the service managers personal demo at about $10,000 otd and then I heard about buell being dropped like 2 months after I got mine. Upset? at the time yes but I have come to grips with the fact that there is nothing I can do about it, and its not like I paid more than the bike is worth, just alot of ppl paid way less than the thing is realy worth |
