i recently purchased an '09 xb12ss and have 250+ miles on the clock. i ck'd the mileage on my last fill up and it came to 31.9 mpg. i have an '06 uly i regularly get 40+- mpg. is this normal, will it get better w/mileage, or? i'm trying to break it in properly so i haven't been getting on it too hard. really like the bike. |

the more miles you put on it the better the gas mileage will get. |

Don't be too easy on her when breaking in, you want those rings to seal. |

Just clocked 45mpg on my cityX. Joe was right, I didn't notice the low fuel light but did pay attention to the low fuel odometer. |

You won't get the kind of mileage on the 08s and up that you got on your 06 uly. It just won't happen. Something to do with the ddfi II vs ddfi III |
