Found this surfing tonight, might have been on other boards but I don't remember seeing it here: http://tuneyourharley.com/biketech/content/buell-v ied-testing-update-28-aug-2009 Looks like they are wanting input from us. I have an 06 but thought some of you with 08's and up might be interested. |

I've used the XIED's successfully on an '07 Sportster and '08 Electraglide. By successfully, I mean they seem to reduce engine temp, and definitely eliminate low speed surging. They are a simple voltage divider that fools the ECM into adding fuel in closed loop mode, which is typically where you're at when at low throttle or steady cruising rpm's. With my '08 Uly, I haven't noticed any surging, and as it gets broken in, it's running cooler. I don't think Nightrider ever claims hp or torque gains using any of their IED products. Although, from my experience with the Sporty and EGC, they both felt stronger when accelerating from low rpm's. |
