Now that the bike is running good, here is another problem. Its shaking bad, not vibrating so much but shaking like a very badly out of balance washing machine pulling off the line and anywhere below 4K rpm when going over 40% throttle. I know these things shake, but its shaking like it feels like the front wheel is pogoing of the ground at a very rapid frequency. Rear isos are very new, as is the shock, forks recently rebuilt, front ISO is 600 miles old and its a B. It does smooth out in higher gears even at those lower RPM's. ISO mount is not broken and all the tie bars are tight. Also it revs freely in neutral. It rolls very smooth and if very easy on the throttle it doesn't do it. Thanks |

What happens when you squeeze the clutch lever at a speed when this is happening (other than letting your bike out of gear, that is LOL)? Does the shaking stop? |

Yes, the shaking stops as soon as power isn't being applied to the back wheel. Irregardless of engine RPM. (Message edited by 12mpghwy on February 17, 2010) |

Inspect front motor mount bolts for being broken. Give that front iso a real good inspection too. I would also inspect the primary chain (Message edited by gowindward on February 17, 2010) |

Is there a noise associated with it? What Ratbuell said. Check everything that is moving when power is applied. I would check the main shaft nut as well. |

Ok just replaced the front iso with a drilled out D version mount, the bolts all look good. no change in the condition if I pull the trans cover what exactly Am looking for? I do have a newer style adjuster boot. Primary was in adjustment last time I checked which wasn't long ago. |

As to a noise I get a bit of rattling and clanking which could be simply the result of the bike shaking so much. Also In the past I have had strange noises coming from the tranny. Like worn dogs engaging. |

Have you replaced the SPRING PLATE(aka GRENADE PLATE) which lasts 50K or less ... You replace it with one steel plate and two fiber plates ... Have Part Numbers if you want them, just e-mail me ... |
