Yes you sent me an email stating "I wil be looking forward to talking with you in sponsorship fee when the rest of line is developed. Maybe end of this or next week. What do ya think of the frame sliders ?" You provided no further information or pictures, so I said I would love to see something. I had no idea what you had up your sleeve. I saw your picture, and had a legitimate concern. I am not a structural engineer, and neither is 99% of the other people that would look into buying a product like that, so thats why me and others were wondering. You could of PMed me some details, answers to questions, etc, but instead you attack me and others on a public forum. Not cool, and even if you became a sponsor here I wouldn't purchase your products. |

let the above be dismissed and stricken from this thread.

wow it is crazy how keith is trying to use you guys as a study group and instead of helping him to get ideas so he can make you guys a product for ya'lls bikes all ya'll can do is fight. I do not have a 1125 but i do think it is great that he is wanting to make a product for the 1125s like this that none of the major brands that make similar products for other bikes make for this bike. |

Ok back to case sliders. I would be interested in a low cost version. Maybe take 3/16 or 1/4 aluminum, cut it out with a mill and press it to shape. Anodized black to match the bike. |

Funny last time I brought up how BF seemed to be more interested in selling product than being a part of the community here he assured me he was not interested in vending here and was just "one of us" lol. Funny how things change and change again aint it? I already stated I would never purchase anything from him because of his snarky and combative attitude. What kind of a vendor attacks potential customers? A pretty dumb one if you ask me. Yet people will still try and buy from him. Good luck with that. |

Why is it that we have to pay 5X the price. Funny you say that mountainstorm. I get phone calls all the time how people laugh .Hell theres people on here That have my products. They just dont post.Alot of them tell me they just look .I've already captured 1% of the CRs and Rs market with those turnouts .I havent had one set returned.Only thank you emails and how my support is good.Oh and the daily pictures of their rides too.I wanted to sponsor here but look how everyone gets treated. To much assuming going on. another thing I noticed about a small amount badwebbers. easyrider put all this work in the ecu tuning so did dave before erik released his ecm.Now everyone is throwing them to the curb and acting like ebr is the holy one. I think people are drinking too much Buellaid. The ebr results arent even pretty?I just cant wait till .... heads will turn. |

You keep talking shit about the EBR ECM and you have not even tested one. I'd think with all those $100 turn outs you've sold you'd be able to just buy the ECM and test it. You'd rather use someone else's Dyno run as if that were the end word on the EBR product. That's lame. And here you are with access to a dyno and (according to you) buttloads of knowledge about how they work. Why not buy a Race ECM calibrated for pump gas and slip on and find out for yourself. I guess it's just easier to talk shit about them, since that would better serve your purpose. As I said before you are piss poor at making friends and influencing people on BadWeb. eBay is a perfect venue for you. If someone wants to spend $100 for a pair of slightly curved pieces of steel more power to them. Seems like a waste of money to me. |

Hmm, I hadn't originally intended to sell anything to anyone. Then I realized, hey, I need an easy way to change my rear tire. No spools, so I made some. I guess I bent the rules a little with the post of pics on what I did to fix my tire changing problem. I sold a few of them without paying sponsorship fees. I actually started feeling guilty after the first sale, but for a low priced, low volume product, it wasn't worth pursuing. I had even asked Blake about it, probably a year ago and just kinda dropped the ball on it. Then I started getting into the exhaust work. Things changed, I figured I had something that is worthwhile to advertise and has enough of a margin to justify trying to sell them. I've sold a few of them since I started advertising here and I expect I'll end up selling a few more. As long as I break even and everyone's happy, it's all good for me. I enjoy the work I do and take pride in it as well. It may not be as polished looking as a Drummer or the Free Spirit's exhaust, but that's not what I was shooting for. I also didn't want to offer a "cookie cutter" exhaust that gets churned out by the hundreds and everyone's got one like it. I could buy pre-made exhaust cans and stick them on a pipe, but it's just not the same as doing it yourself. I guess thats the reason why I do what I do, I like one off fabrications that look good and perform at least as well as stock. I'll continue to play with my personal designs looking for "free" horsepower, but I'm happy with the current results. Btw, for the most part, I've had a pretty decent experience here, so thanks to all of you, especially the nice guys. They say nice guys always finish last but I disagree, look at the results from racing last year. Eslick was awesome on "our" bike and I'm glad I've got one. |

Wtf was that about .Heres a cookie adams for your work on that overpriced exhaust. That downpipe you sell for two hundred some odd bucks isnt worth it either.Jardine offers thier downpipe alone for 95$.<<< a heads up for people that want a custom exhaust built.Thats economical.Id build off that which I have plans too along with a few other webbers I know of .We not me we have a plan. Then the tuning will begin. They wont be for sale.I want something trick and custom.Hellgates on the right path.I dont know where hes at with his. Listen I have tons of knowledge.Ya I dont write very well and ya I can be crude.Im not drinking buellaid thats for sure.I do love my bike and its characteristics.I totally stick up for it when my import buddies rag on me for owning it.I only want to make things better. I want to clear one thing up with your Blue cloud 9 story adams. You also took a jab at me awhile back and its been eating me up not to confront you on that statement. Look at that looser selling those exhaust turnouts and on ebay I would never do that.Something along that line.Which The tips blew your welded tip bussiness out.Where is that guy from operation muffle ding dong at. Is he still running That pipe with the two ding dong tubes missing? Is he happy ?What you say and do are two different things. You stated the other day that you might even get on ebay and sell.Look whose the hipocrite now. For the price mountainstorm It's not worth it.You dont get anything except something you can hold in your hand.LOOKY look at me I have a race ecm.WEEEE at the sotp.LOL Theres no tuning for 250.00 .Even easyrider said it needed tuning. But what gets me is its listed as plug and play.If they offered it for 500.00 with software Id do it.The powercommander and the O s b is much more ecconomical .I will get dirty on the dyno soon at 25$ an hour dyno rate I can have lots of fun.I have experience with all kinds of systems MaF.speed density,Alpha n ,Rpm tps based maps.J4b is a smart cookie too.And people ran off a stand up guy that bought off the shelf parts and dynoed it.And everyone ridiculed him.hu I will give it a shot.I promise. And I will give free tune data sheets to badwebbers. On my car i tuned it from 11.50s with a holley commander 950 wideband to a 9.90 second drag car 302 v8 15lbs of boost.I have the know how.I admit I can be arrogant.Im sorry .Im just looking at the big picture. Example My friend bought a 08 R1 .I test rode it for him.I was shocked and said this things weak.We then ran them after he bought it and he smoked my doors off .At 100 mph he blew by me so hard it wasnt funny. Now I ran the r1 while he rode my r.Need less to say i blew my r away riding the r1.What I'm getting at with that statement is sotp is very misleading .Sorry if i pissed anyone off .We really need to get back to case sliders. |

Guys (and gals), I'm really trying to help you with a product that folks seem to want. Can we please stay on topic? The R&G case savers look interesting but I am concerned that two small screws would simply snap in a crash but the idea is worth looking into. Thoughts? Keith |

Do you have any drawings for a prototype yet? The Yosh sliders look like they're functional, that's all I'd want. Anything similar would be fine. What material would be easier for you to work with and be durable, ie; hold up in a slide? Delrin or aluminium? How thick does it really need to be? Will it cover the pucks or allow access to them without removing the case savers but still protect them if they don't fully cover the pucks? |

Skully: I agree. I really like the looks of the R&G. Very sleek. I wonder if it would be possible to plave a support member between the engine case and exhaust that connects each side or if that would even benefit anything? |

Black Delrin material would be cool . Although it cracks easily. Those Taylor made ones "cf" seem to be the best idea and strength. 300$ ouch. Billet aluminum might work but will it crack? Brushed Stainless Would be cool. What about a plastic mold? Plastic injection? |

That R&G looks like it would tear up quickly. I'd be happy with anything like the taylormade at half the price. Delrin, aluminum, I don't really care so long as it doesn't allow the asphalt to chew up my case. |

I really don't like the r&g... I like the better coverage of the taylormade or yosh style. |

Delrin cracks easily? ORLY? Get a piece and try and crack it. Put it in a vice and smash it with a hammer and see what happens. I work with it. It's nearly indestructible. |

the 'r&g' MIGHT work on the clutch side, but the 2 bolts would have too much leverage on the stator side. the YOSH style multi-bolt/curve would be stronger. me still thinks some sort of metal would be nice; maybe with a replaceable derlin knob/puck/button. or an entire derlin piece is cool too, though derlin may fracture at the bolt holes/pinch points; something is better than nothing. |

quick look-up on derlin:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyoxymethylene_plas tic "Because the material lacks the rigidity of most metals, care should be taken to use light clamping forces and sufficient support for the workpiece." maybe some fender washers will do the trick |

It's very brittle material. I've Been machining some delrin lately. Plastic injection I think would be the way to go.A softer plastic with more flex properties. |

There is many different grades of Delrin. I've used it for automobile suspension bushing and it wasn't brittle.} (Message edited by Wastegate on February 18, 2010) |
