Just bought my first 1125CR, I have never even seen one of these bikes in person, bought it over the phone and sent a guy down to pick it up for me, I should have it tomorrow about 7 or 8pm.. I bought a red one. I race a NHRA Top Dragster in Division 6 and this is going to be our pit bike, I first bought a 1998 S1W and thought how cool that was going to be for a “pit bike” Then with the deals on the 1125 I could not say no !!!. I’m sure it will see some track time also. Mine came from Montana. I understand there is a few in Montana and Wyoming. CR and R’s Just in case anyone wanted to check inventory. I put my deposit down last week and that dealer only had 1 r and 3 cr. Looking forward to the Bike. Thanks Tracy Popham Clarkston Washington |

Congratulations! What a pit bike. You can win the pit bike race anyday..Are you going to hook up a side car to carry your tires and fuel ? Or a trailer to carry items from the pits to the track? |

I believe the dealer he is talking about is in Missoula, MT. I spoke to them in Oct or Nov, but found a CR closer in Reno Nv. |

No mine came from Great Falls Mt. I'm sure i called missoula and they did not have any. I called every dealer in washington, Oregon, ( which i had a deal with and they sold the bike i had a depost on and the bill of sale.) So they i started calling dealers in Montana, and found one. |

Congrats! Me too. My local dealer (Portland) had an attitude I couldn't change or shift one bit so I got mine in Boise at High Desert. I got a CR with 39 miles versus the race teams bike with 1,300 miles. An almost virgin or something ridden hard and put away wet. Not too tough a choice and I saved $1,500 in the process including shipping! I too have an S1 (96). The CR seems to be very well made. With all the zip ties the S1 uses the kit bike feeling is just not there on the CR. A night and day difference in every respect. dannybuell |

When I got my CR in Great Falls last part of Jan they said they were going to be getting some more in. Seemed like great people to deal with. |

Falcon501; Process Improvement and Quality Assurance methods depend on feedback. If you don't mind, who was the Dealer in Oregon that did this to you? dannybuell |

You chose wisely. Now just remove the mirrors, belt guards and you'll be set. |

Dannybuell The dealer was Cascade Harley-Davidson/Buell 63028 Sherman Rd. Bend Oregon 97701 When the deal went south and i called the owner said he had his personal bike he would sell me for $2grand more, and i said wait i was told this red one (the one i was going to buy was your personal bike), oh no he said that was a demo.. In looking back 1900 miles is a lot and i think i got a much better deal at Great Falls in Montana If anyone would like the long story feel free to call me Tracy 208-791-7770. If this is your Favorite dealer great I'm not trying to slam anyone or chase business from anyone, I just know i buy a bike or 2 a year and i won't be calling them. Once again please don't cast stones at me i was just answering a question that was posted. And i tryed to do it with the upmost professionalism. I will say they did give my my deposit back but i think they would have to because i have a bill of sale for a bike that has been sold. |

My general experience in buying this bike was that the west coast urban dealers had more attitude than the dealers to the east. I was on the owners red one at about the same time with Chris in Bend. We may have poisoned the well for each other in Bend. Tim in Boise beat everyone big time. dannybuell (Message edited by dannybuell on February 17, 2010) |

You'll really enjoy the CR. I went back and forth on the R and CR and after buying a white R I still want a CR. I love how mean and nasty they look. It just looks pissed off sittin still. Rawwr! (Animal noises) lol |

I currently live in the Boise valley, I heard that one of the other CRs went to Portland. I also worked with Tim at High Desert. They worked the best deal for me. Anyone know who got the Alien CR custom? |
