I come over from the 5th of April until the 5th of May, to pick up my 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, With a realy nice special build Ford Racing engine. I ride the route 66 with my girlfriend, I start in North Carolina and then go up to Chicago, and will end up in LA to drop the car for shipping To the Netherlands. I take my laptop and cables, and stuff with me, to help some people on the road for programming there ECM, and update them. I will make a cheap price 100 dollar, for everybody who would like to update his ECM. Somehow I need to make a logistic plan to do this and make the stops, I think this topic can help. If people would like to get an update, the onlt thing they need to do s to get the latest flash.. The best s to mae the appointment in a place where we have power. Let's see if this work, and people would like to have a European solution inside there ECM (-: (Message edited by Easyrider on February 16, 2010) |

Dris, you gotta stop in Albuquerque to see us here. We're on Rought 66. I only work 2 or 3 days a week, so I should be around. And, I promise I won't ask you to work on my racer. |

Hehehe . . I have visions of you getting to L.A. and the I.R.S. waiting there to collect taxes. Very cool car. . . the kid I rode to high school with had a blue 1967 and I still think it's one of the better looking Mustangs. It'll be a GREAT trip. |

Xtreme Sounds like a plan man!!! Easy, what exactly will you be doing as far as services are concerned, for example if someone has a slip-on will you be able to compensate for that? or what exactly are the details for the tune and everything? THANKS AGAIN!!!! Jake BTW- which engine is in that Stang? Fords got ALOT of MEAN crate engines out right now! |

Dris, my racer has a race ECM that I installed your map on a year ago when I bought my Torque Hammer through Pete. BTW this last weekend was my first chance to ride it, for more than 20 minutes since I got it. I'll send you an email later this week with details. I'm really happy though. |

Ridenusa4l, I take all my made maps with me, I promise that is a lot, And yes, I have also slip-on maps with me. The engine is 5.0 roller block from Ford Racing, 347ci. Inside is a new crank, rods, pistons, balance rotating assembly, aluminum Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads, 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust valve, ported for great flow, aluminum true roller rockers, 1.70 lift with guide plates and heavy duty pushrods and screw in studs, B-303 Ford Racing cam, Cobra aluminum high rise intake, Cobra aluminum oil pan with 7 quart capacity, Barry Grant 650cfm double pumper carburetor, 1 5/8 long tube headers, and dual exhausts. I still look for a tuner, who has a dyno to see if the AF for the carb is right, I don't want to tune the engine for max power. just want to be sure nobody made a mistake here. That is still some kind of dark area for me. |

Easy... There is a dyno shop that I use in Riverside CA (about) 45mile from LA. I am friends with the owner. we could get your fastback on the dyno and see what it does... Take a look at my bosses too. Its a '67 fastback 348SBF twin turbo. The company I work for is Professional Products ... Our EFI system is the best out for your type of application. Visit www.retrotekSpeed.com and check it out. We could probably help each other out here GET THAT CARB OFF !!! Haha. |
