Court, I count 62 tyres? There are normal everyday use Australian trucks running 70 PS. You know we have two "farms" there, each of them bigger than Texas? (Where's that Blake fella?) |

The scary part? How about the poor hydraulic guy who has to fix the rear steering trailer when it malfunctions. |

I count 108 tires total on that truck. 12 on the tractor and 96 on the trailer. Man am I tired of rain, I'm so bored I'm counting tires on a picture of a truck! |

Alright Court, I MUST chime in here. I work at Fairbanks Morse Engine in Beloit, WI - only 35 miles from the Buell factory and you can see similar "massive" manufacturing at our facility. The engine I work on is about twice the size of that on the trailer and we have a similar trailer to move it around our facility. Next time you are in Wisconsin, I will be happy to give you a tour. BTW, the largest engine we can build is ~30,000 HP! Dave |

>>>>the largest engine we can build is ~30,000 HP! Interesting....a 30,000HP engine and you're in Wisconsin? I have a pal who is an accomplished frame designer. Perhaps the two of you should meet. Have dinner plans on 8-21-03? Court |

Some Pictures I took while on a day long adventure to the Port-au-Port Peninsula of Newfoundland today. The scenery was spectacular. I will take anyone who comes to the island out there for a tour.

Spidey, I did that turn at about 75mph which was fun, went back and then took the pic. Had to watch out for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police expecially seeing the speed limit was about 40mph. Oh well thats only a sample of whats to come. |
