Thanks for your help on the CF parts. Now I need a stock airbox cover for a 2002 M2. The one on my wife's bike is scraped up and I am putting the bike up for sale. Not looking to spend a lot. I know someone has one gathering dust in their garage. (I have a stock 97 S1 cover if anyone wants it.) Joel |

Anyone got a decent looking full face helmet laying around? Darker colors? An actual Buell helmet would be awesome! I am looking for a good deal on one. The top air port cover on my Bell flew off sunday at some point on my way to a friends house. Not looking to spend a whole lot. I can use the broken one it doesnt effect the function of the helmet itself it just looks dumb. I would need atleast a large. I need to re-measure my dome again for exact size. Thanks in advance! |

Fuscat, I've got an all white and nearly new ARAI Signet GT for sale, size medium. Only been worn six times or so. Bought it for a bit over $400 two years ago, $200 takes it home. Comes with ARAI protective helmet bag, ARAI box, and all the paperwork. If interested, ping me: seriousfun3@yahoo.com Russ |

Wow thanks for the replies guys. After thinking it over a little more this afternoon, I think I am going to hold off. I hate to but I can live with my broken Bell for the rest of this years riding season. I want a new one but my wallet doesn't! Due to other things I don't have much $$ at all to spend and I think I would be happier waiting till next season and being able to afford one I really like! Again I apologize to those who took the time to respond. I should have thought about it a little more before I posted.. |

Joel- I don't know what they are worth. Would you be intertested in a trade for a custom engraved derby cover? I am a custom etcher of stone, glass, brick and chrome. The chrome I do because I have the tools and ability, more like a hobby for me. Right now I have more time than money (just had shoulder surgery yesterday). Let me know if this interests you and if not, how much $ you need for them. I have other photos of my work. I am having to type lefthanded so bear with me. essjay |

I was just moments away from taking the good 'ole ROTO-ZIP to the CF rear inner fender (hugger) on my 2001 X1 when I realized that I could just cut down the stock plastic part (which some idiot threw away last year). So...if anyone is interested in the very expensive, weight-saving and aesthetically pleasing CF piece, here's the good deal. Stick your stock plastic fender in a box, throw in a coupla' dollars for the return shipping and send it to me (San Diego/Chula Vista). When I get it, I take your fender out, stick the CF rendition in and send it back to you. Fairly simple. I don't want any money for it.....just enough to cover the shipping. The hugger is American Sport Bike's newer version using the improved layup process and sporting the radiused (rounded?) belt guard. I could just as easily chop it up, but it would be a waste to butcher such a nice and expen$ive piece. I am also not interested in giving it to someone who just wants to turn it around and make a buck. Your stock fender should be in fairly good condition. Remember....2001 X1 (I think, but i'm not 100% certain all the X1's used the same part number). E-mail me. First come, first served. IMPORTANT: My e-mail filter is set to EXCLUSIVE, so use "BUELL" as the first word or only word in your SUBJECT LINE so I can fish it out of the junk mail cesspool. This requires a little bit of trust on your part but, I don't believe everyone is a crook and you shouldn't either. Besides, all you're risking is the junk stock fender and a coupla' bucks.....but think about what will be in your mail box a few days later......mmmmmmmmm. gkaili@msn.com P.S.-the CF hugger is in perfect condition. Pack your stock fender well because I'm going to use the same packing material and box to send the CF hugger to you. If you're local (not loco), we can do the exchange 2 (Eastlake).

Oops! Sorry.....I just realized I should have placed my post in the "for sale" section instead of here. Yeah, I'm also the one who threw out the original factory hugger for the X1. Anyways, it appears we have a winner. He has not been notified yet, but our winner is Lawrence H. with a winning time of 12:14:37 EDT. Congratulations Lawrence; we will be in contact with you shortly. All you other hopefuls, thanks for the interest and don't give up the ship just yet. It ain't never over 'til..... Bob K }
