I think a permanent post located say at the very top would serve this community well. Just a query. |

I was thinking about that the other day, but it isn't necessary, as there is less 1125 stuff in the classifieds than even the tubers. Just stick whatever your selling in the same general classifieds. |

Ok dokey - I wasn't thinking as seller - rather as a consumer... browsing other uneccessary yet tasty bits for the 1125 is a past time in itself |

I think that would be a cool idea. Make it like the "Dyno" section, where you click on it and it has a sub section of threads. It has my vote. (Message edited by fresnobuell on February 10, 2010) |

It's not really the searching in the Classifieds for me, just that I don't remember to visit that section very often. I am sure there would be much more action on "for sale" stuff if the thread/section was staring us all in the face everytime we look at the 1125 Board. |

Don't seperate things too much. Look at the Old School forum. The S2s wanted a seperate heading then the M2s wanted their own. These are low production number bikes and so are 1125s. There's just a few posts a week in those areas so it's not followed much. |

There needs to be a way for the casual buyer (someone that maybe doesn't know he needs something and won't visit the classifieds) to see what's for sale. Why do you guys think so many people post up trying to sell stuff in here? |

Its got my vote I don't check the classified sec too much and every time I do I'm a few days or a week too late on something cool I would of picked up. If there is an 1125 fs/wtb sec in here I think it would really help. |

Because I have been very lax and have not been moving threads. If you are selling an 1125 item, just put 1125 in the title, same if it was XB or tuber parts. It isn't hard, and if someone isn't regularly checking the classifieds, they will be missing out on many great deals including gear and memorabilia. Hell, someone even tried selling their porn collection. |

Why do you guys think so many people post up trying to sell stuff in here? They post here because it hits the target audience for the parts and they have much more of a chance to sell the part. |

I think a lot of people post here because they go to www.badweatherbikers.com and click 1125R at the top. A bunch of people probably don't even realize there are other sections besides those listed on the splash page. ac |

if you don't frequent the classifieds, then you must not want that badly whatever is for sale. ... or you gots enough moneys for pay retail elsewhere or bid on e-bay. the dyno thing i can understand, as well as the newbie Q&A section. but those are for different reasons, not to help you liquidate your assets more rapidly. would a link to the classifieds suffice? here, put this in your favorites: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 1020.html?1265843599 |

Thanks for being concerned about others' finances, but that really has nothing to do with the subject. You mentioned ebay, how many times have you gone there just to browse and ended up buying something your wanted, not needed? It's the same principle here. |

saw the new Classifieds section link at the top of the 1125 Board. That's a step in the right direction. Wondering why the production figures are there? Is that important info? (Message edited by fresnobuell on February 10, 2010) |

Fresnobuell Posted on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - 03:24 pm: "if the thread/section was staring us all in the face everytime we look at the 1125 Board." I couldn't agree more. T_Man said it best when he Posted on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 - 02:25 pm: "Just a query." Yup. TIA (think about it) the path of least resistance is well worn. the easier you make it from the primary attraction (here at the forum) to the classifieds the more likely the classifieds will be viewed. dannybuell |

Fresno, I put the link up because of this thread. As for the production numbers, I put them up on Xboard and Uly sections. Just one of those little pieces of info that many are curious about. I might eventually move them. |

Its a good thing they do, because we don't want those Blast riders coming over here and getting confused and pouring coolant on their motors. Also, if you look in their classifieds, they are barren, you can see over 2 years worth of threads on a single page. Most Blast stuff gets sold in the normal classifieds. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/201 64/328601.html?1265390870 |

i was actually only sort of kidding, like some of you thought, I had been coming in through the link for the 1125r board, and have yet to explore the rest of the site. I only noticed the classifieds a couple of days ago. |
