Can I still get a buell tank bag through HD? If not what options do I have. I dont see anyone with wolfman bags on thier bike. I am looking for a bag to keep a camera handy for taking pics. I think trying to put a camera in a jacket wile moving might be a no no. Is there a thread or pics of aux fuel containers attached to the xt cases? The few I do see have the touratech cases installed. I have a 1 gallon gas container I would strap to the back rest if nothing else. I would like to put my tent and sleeping gear there. Iam going on a four day trip at the end of the month and would like the comfort of having fuel if my hd budies decide to ride more than 180 miles to fill up. Thanks for any help. |

I have 2 of the 91213-04yb tank bags in stock; hdoffrederick.com (yes, we're a sponsor). Look for the "operators tube" thread here in BBD - it's an owners manual tube from a tractor or other ag application, that can hold a 1L can of fuel. Not a ton, but a good bit more "reserve" fuel. |

I've seen an item that bolts to your passenger pegs to hold a gallon (or more) of fuel. I'll see if I can find it. |

I use the Xpedition bag on my bike and it works good. The bag is dry. I really would like a better way to strap it down, but it works and that is the bottom line |

http://www.bestrestproducts.com/c-114-pegpacker.as px Viola! It's for a BMW, V-Strom or KLR, but I don't think it would be that hard to fab. |

Anyone used this (or something like it)for some reserve fuel? http://www.nashmotorcycle.com/index.php?id=parts/f uelslings I have been kicking around an idea for a "homemade" system because the Nash "Fuel Sling" is big $$$. Here is a picture of what someone else did. I am thinking of something like this. http://images17.fotki.com/v13/photos/3/36012/12777 55/JATO2-vi.jpg (Sorry for the links. I am at work and can't upload pics.) |

Don't know if these work with Journey cases. Price is right at $4.99 each. http://www.agrisupply.com/product.asp?pn=67670&sid =&eid= IIRC, the screw holes are 12" on center. Worked great with big Pelicans.

I carry two MSR 0.88L/30FL Oz containers strapped the bottom of the luggage racks. I used one SS hose clamp on each side with some cheap rubber lining the clamps. The zip ties are there to prevent the bottles from rolling down. If I need them, it take some time to pull them off of there...but I don't ever plan on needing them. Between the two I have just under 1/2 gallon. And that is a nice piece of mind to get me another 15 miles if need be. I got them as I ran out and needed about 2 miles of fuel. Pushing a fully loaded bike for two miles isn't fun.

I have been using the Cortech with success. Its small but plenty of room for a camera, wallet, phone, and butts.
