By 3.7 seconds! That is a HUGE block of time on a racetrack. No disrespect to Mike, he's a fantastic rider. But, I'm almost tending to go with Crusty on this one. Anybody understand the real reason? |

Superior track knowledge on a wet but drying track late in the session. Probably on DOT race treads when everyone else was running full rain tires. Rain, the great performance equalizer. You know Crusty, you might want to gather some facts before making accusations like that. Totally uncool. |

Blake, it was a gaffe. Kinda like accusing AMA Pro Racing of turning a blind eye towards the Japanese teams when they cheat. |

It's a "gaffe" alright. A gaffe being an error or mistake. Not the same at all as calling to attention AMAPR's policy wrt the Supersport bikes. One is a conclusion wrt a corporate policy and is supported by a preponderance of convincing evidence; the other is blind accusation against a specific individual with little to no supporting evidence. |

Mike spends a lot of time at RA. When I first read this post I thought he was on the XB...like I stated before I dont follow racing all that close & dont know all of the classes..but then I read the report & saw he was on a GSXR 750. Good job Mike. And no I do not think he was cheating in any way shape or form. |

A gaffe is also a long hook used to bring a fish in closer to a boat. Mike Ciccoto is a fast racer, and I meant no insult to him. But the gaffe worked |

Crusty, that would be a "gaff", not a "gaffe". Easy mistake to make if you don't have MS Bookshelf running on your desktop, like I do. |

Mike was riding in the rain...a great equalizer for the brave, but also a great way to fall off. When push comes to shove cheating beats bravery any day. That's why the factories do it! |

Did anyone notice Higbee running as high as 4th in the Superbike race? I thought that was cool. Shawn's a super guy and it's great to see him do so well.(at least for the first half of the race). I think he finished 8 or 9th????? |
