I've been looking at it on their site....Didn't notice the CF one, how much did that run? Also anyone have a sound clip of it, dyno sheet, or can tell me if the exhaust blows straight on the rear tire or not and how it affects it. |

Just noticed a nice 6 page thread about this exhaust on one of the other forums, good info as it's a work in progress with the manufacture wanting some inputs from us. |

I guess you're gonna make me google for that forum aren't you? I'd never seen that one either, I'd need to know more, the looks the price. If dyno #'s look good that could be a good seller. |

I think I am gonna get one in the spring. The price is right and it isn't so loud. Also no tune needed I guess you can but it looks like no tune needed. The cabon fiber looks like it blows onto the tire but the guy explaibed it was just a slip on for the photo and was not a finished product , I am interested in the stainless one or aluminun whatever it is in black. |

I don't know if i would go so far as to say it won't need a tune...These EFI's aren't like cars with MAF sensors.. they need a tune for anything we do to them.. Anyways yea on the buelletin forums it has been discussed in detail... good info over there. |

I've been watching this one as well, it really has the look that I've been waiting for and claims some nice numbers. A sound/video clip are supposed to be coming pretty soon. |

Looks good, but all of these pipes need some sort of a bellypan to cover up all of that open space. looks funny all open |

The aluminum pipe looks really good. (I'd prefer brushed aluminum to polished, though.) According to a dyno chart posted in that thread, an 1125R picked up 17hp peak over stock with just a K&N and the slipon with no tuning. That seems almost too good to be true, but then there's the pricetag. $395 is MSRP which is already great, but one of the Buellitinboard members is going to be a reseller for them and give 10% off of MSRP to forum members. |

I believe that is the maker/seller that is going to be giving that discount to board members, Maybe we could hook him up here too. |

There still doesn't seem to clarification on the packing. If you're in it for a sub $500 slip-on I suppose it doesn't really matter much if it does have it since all the rest in that range have it as well. Very interested for the price, and can't wait to hear it. |

I talked to Ray C's HD this past fall (Lapeer, MI), which is where the Barker exhaust was demo'd, and they were getting ready to start setting up bikes with that exhaust. I hope that it can be on my to-do list this spring, $400 is a great deal for 12-17HP gain. |

In the thread, Barker claims that his exhaust has some reverse cone inside of it, and I believe the implication is that it doesn't have packing to blow out. |

Well I'm a sucker for good looking, well-made pieces that seem to perform well.. Certainly the potential for a 17HP hike for a moderate outlay is too tempting for me.. Just placed an order on the site.. It wasn't completely clear whether there are pipes already available to ship but the total price including shipping to the UK is really good. Hopefully it'll arrive just after I drop the bike in for it's 620 mile service so I can get that out of the way before fitting it.. What a lovely looking product.. |

The manufacturer has said they are a few weeks out from shipping a final product on Buelletinboard. |

Yes I saw that there (Mid Feb) but no mention of that on the ordering site... That's OK though there's no mad rush, I still have 450 miles to go before the 620 mile service so that'll probably take a month or so to do as I'm picking my new (old) bike up tomorrow (GPZ1100S) which i'll use to commute on until the better weather arrives.. |

Ha, look at the NJBO getting around There was just a post on the buelletinboard thread answering some questions about their optional quiet core. The quiet core will be $20, and is still under development. The manufacturer says they will work to make a custom one to meet your noise vs performance goal. Obviously when you restrict flow, your going to sacrifice performance. |

I did not post it here as Tim from Barkers is not a site sponsor and I didn't want to hear the BS that follows. The discount is not through Tim at Barkers but rather through my business. It was/is being done this way to protect dealer/on-line pricing. |

Fryman1125,} Ray C's is one of the few who have heard this pipe so far. Anyone from Ray C's on the forum? |

Jornum1 said: "Obviously when you restrict flow, your going to sacrifice performance." That is mostly true, but there are inserts out there used in car applications that do cut noise somewhat without much if any reduction in air flow. See my post in the link below. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/535227.html?1265301893 |

Am I the only one that thinks the pipe looks out of place? It looks almost as bad as the Jardine and D&D. |

I have been looking for a pipe that mounts right under the bike. And I really like this one. Well I really really like this one http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/373.html but not for $2K. For $395 I can like this one just as well. Which after market pipe do you like or have Froggy? (Message edited by afhans on February 05, 2010) |
