I'm up in Manhattan...public works seems only to build roads in straight lines around here. I just added an '08 1125R to the stable and I'm slowly breaking her in, Wx permitting. Any suggestions on areas to ride? I don't expect to find anything like the tail of the dragon, but something other than straight would be nice. Didnt we pull the motor out of that thing once already because of a header problem?   Ratfink Posted on Tuesday, February 02, 2010 - 08:30 pm:        My header had a crack in it from that incident. I had it welded on the inside. Then outside of the pipe cracked. Had that welded. Then it cracked around the weld. FML. I think the original crack weakend the pipe and it just finally failed. And if I don't get a good used pipe in the next week or 2, I'm just gonna buy an older (07 or older) pipe so I can polish it so it looks good on my bike.
