Hi All! Well you all suck if you plan a ride for the 14th, 15th! We have a graduation party to attend the 14th and then we leave to go south somewhere for a weeks vacation. Gonna take the SUZ with me and get in some riding time! YEP, the doc says I'm good to go. I want to get out here and ride around some this weekend maybe. I can't make long trips but short ones are OK for now. I have to build up for SPLASH! I might head out to the base of St. Helens. I do need to get a new helmet before riding. That's first on my list! Sounds like you all have a great time this last weekend. I love those ferry rides! Has anyone contacted Gumby to find out about Thundercross? Last we heard it was the 14th. Bob and Deb if you do come down give us a ring, maybe we could all get together for dinner. Kim and Mike what's up? later, loni |

Ah, the North Cascades Highway. It doesn't get any better. I'm taking Friday off of work and heading over to Winthrop, and then home the same way. Anyone interested?

Loni- Thundercross was canceled..... See post from Shotgun. We don't have any exciting plans. I would love to get child care for Sunday and plan a ride somewhere. Bob & Deb are you up or is that down for coming down? Do you guys maybe want to meet somewhere? Has it been hot in your neck of the Woods? Are you ready to get out of town and spend a night in an air conditioned home? How about anyone else? Bicelindrico - that is if you are still riding and your skirt hasn't gotten the best of you! (I heard it through the grape vine you had takin' to 4 wheels instead of 2.) What about your wife, good time to introduce her to the gang. I have been putting in a ton of hours and would love some- sun on my face, wind in my hair, hangin' with the gang kinda time. So whata ya say? Let's make plans soon so that I can get child care arranged. Sunday would work best for me since Cody has a baseball game on Saturday, but I could if I had to arrange something then too! Sometimes it has to be all about the parents too you know. |

Kimberlie: "Cody has a baseball game on Saturday" Oh please! Don't tell me Cody is a left handed, switch hitting shortstop as well as a kick ass MC racer. Can I buy stock in this kid? Mike: Very nice to talk to you tonight. Thanks for calling! I don't care what the other kids say, I think your alright! Everybody anywhere near the Tacoma area: Let's get The Swiss thing going again! It's been way too long since I've seen each of you. How about lets gettin together next Tuesday night, the 10th of June, at 6:30pm, at The Swiss Tavern, 1904, Jefferson Ave South, Tacoma, WA. And ride your bike! Bob, Lyle, Ricky, Duane, Steve, Scot, Debbie, Prof Stack,... Be there or be Square! edited by ray_maines on June 05, 2003 |

Just in case you've forgotten us up here we did a little ridin' yesterday. Jim and I hooked up and met Kim and a few other BRAGers for a ride up to Whistler. Rippin' UP The Rockies was going to kick off and we needed no more excuse than that to take advantage of the best weather so far this year. We are just standing around in Deeley's House of Buell when who walks in but the man hisself - Erik Buell. He hung out and talked with us for a while and signed helmets and bikes and whatever. Eight of us rode up in the most careful and law abiding manner......'til we got to Horseshoe Bay. Somebody crossed the double line and......."Let the games begin"! Erik had to ride up in a SUV as his back was hurting and had left about 1/2 an hour before us. When we passed him in full song he told us later that he really wished he could have been riding with us. We hung out and had a few refreshments at Citta. You may remember the outdoor bar in Whistler from BorderRaid. Then thanks to Kim we got to have dinner with the people that had registered properly for the BRAG ride at the Crab Shack. The "Rippin" ride was to continue the next day to Kamloops, then to Banff, then to Calgary to catch the races but Jim, a new Bueller we met named Alex and I rode back to Vancouver. I kinda sucks when people are going for a great ride and you have other commitments but if you if you have to choose one ride to go on it's has to be SPLASH. We rode down to Squamish and met Sporty Eric who had just gotten off work and rode back with him. Over all, an awesome day. Lookin' forward to SPLASH, Harv |
