Will the M2/M2L seats interchange and what's the height difference between the two seats? It would be nice if my M2 was a tad lower without suspension changes

or what you could do is take your stock seat to an upholstery shop and have them cut the seat down a bit and recovered.

i never liked the m2L seat at all. i would have been better off sitting on a board. if you lower the bike, then you can put what ever seat on it without it feeling that bad. my daughter never had any problem riding the low.

In my 2001 parts book it shows the shock bracket is the same for the M2 and M2L's. But the shock assembly is 2 different part numbers (K0410.01A4A for the M2L and the K0431.9 is for the M2) The M2 shock is 14 and some and the M2L is about 15.5 inches. The older style bracket is more straight with the older long shock I believe at 16.5 inches. I also PM'd Brinnutz.

I think the corbin seat is lower then a stock seat. I have both, but only use the Corbin when riding two up so my wife has the backrest. The stock actually feels better to me. (I am 6'2")

Yes they interchange as long as they are the same tail vintage, 99-up. I've tried the stock, L, Corbin, and Pro Series. For me the L is the most comfortable but I had to remove a chunk of foam from the nose about the size of a beer can, otherwise the damn thing crushed my nuts.
