Hey guys, I'm new to these parts, found this forum while searching the 'net for a bike. I'm looking for an 09 (preferably) or 2010 1125R. I'm located in Ontario, but have given up looking around here and am expanding my search to the US, and then will need to have her shipped to Michigan. Anyone know of ANY dealer with one in stock?? |

OK... messages sent to one of the Texas dealers and to Grand Rapids (though their website says they only have black) I found one for almost $7K even, its an 09... but he's being a dick on price. I think he needs to come down more in price (its not brand new) |

I have tried to deal with both garland and round rock on an 1125r. They were both unwilling to make a deal. I even bought a cr from round rock and a month later tried to get a similar deal on a 1125r with no luck. |

$7K for a used bike isn't that great though, when some dealers have them new for $6500 (though not in white)... is it?? |

No it is not that great of a price. You can get a new one for that like you said. You could always buy a black or red and just change plastics to white. You can sell the take offs. |

I just got off the phone with Ken Barner @ Seminole HD-Buell near Orlando and they have seven '09's coming in this afternoon. Not sure on color though. |

Thanks guys. I've contacted around a dozen dealers, and I'm coming up empty handed. The whites are very very hard to come by. I found one in Canada, they want almost $9K CANADIAN for it, so it will be over $10K after taxes and everything. Crazy. |

I'm going to call Seminole Harley this morning, though I suspect shipping would be ridiculous from Florida to Michigan |

So, there are a few to be found. Have you scanned all the states for them using the "Find A Buell" search function on the Buell website? Illinois is showing one also: http://www.buell.com/en_us/tools/find-a-bike/state -inventory.asp?statefilter=IL# 1 1125RŪ 2009 Arctic White McHenry Harley-Davidson Shop (815) 344-9300 McHenry |

I checked all the states within pickup distance from Ontario, so most of the more northern states. I did use that tool on the Buell site, I wonder if it was updated since I checked on the weekend, with more bikes. I'm going to call those dealers you listed today |

Whippetlvr, Come to Florida, pick up your new 1125R, stay for Bikeweek and some sunshine, then ride home! |

GR harley is a PITA to deal with and I can comment first hand why you would not want to buy from them. I'm with the other guy who suggested buying a any bike you can find for the best price and then strike a deal with that dealer for discounted body parts in white. Most dealers will give you 20% off parts when buying a bike. You could buy a bike for $6500, pay $500 for new plastics and get most of that $$ back selling your old plastics. Kirb |

I'd LOVE a road trip to Florida... dont think its an option for me though (work and weather!) GR Harley THINKS they're getting one in, BUT they wont sell to me unless I have a US address. Alrighty then. |

I live 30 min from GR Harley...I'll pick it up, trailer it, and store it in my garage for a couple of $ until you can pick it up. Might be better than shipping. Not a US addy? where are you? |

I'm in Ontario... northeastern Ontario. I can drive across the border into Michigan and pick up without any huge bother, which is why I was really hoping GR would pan out for me. I can still drive to Wisconsin, Illinois etc as well, will just be a weekend trip instead of a one day-er. |

Whippetlovr, have you contacted McHenry Harley? That's where I got mine. Good people to work with. |

Sold a bike to someone in Canada recently, he found it to be cheaper and less of a hassle (paperwork, customs, inspection etc.) to have it shipped. I think his shipping cost was around $400 from Ohio, and they took care of all the necessary steps at the border. |

OK, so 3 calls later, none in Wisconsin. I'm trying to get a hold of McHenry now |
