Here is the tank bag mounted, without the tank bag attached. At the bottom you can see my Autocom Helmet Connector. Here is the tank bag zipped on (mounted). You can see my wire connectors on the LS Front. I just use velcro cable holders to keep them together. (clear plastic on lid is to protect it until I am done wiring it). Because my tank is flat (with that X thing on top of tank) the tank bag moves a little between the bottom mount and the bag, so I stuff this piece of foam between the two. Enough room to put fuel in. I was not happy with the angle of the rear strap mounts if I ran them direct down to air cover bolts, so I made my own mount Here is inside view of bottom 1/2, including (hard mounted) 12V (and USB) adapter I bought off Ebay. the cable pass through is made by powerlett, I found it on Eastern Beaver site. It bolts in, but had a split rubber seal to push wires through. Here is top inside view, with devices laying in top. I will glue some velcro to hold devices from moving. Here is a view from further away. (these pictures are linked and not attached to save BW server space) (Message edited by towpro on January 26, 2010) |
