Actually, if he gets cracking, he might be able to get the rest of the break-in miles on her new XB by then. Then again, I heard people say to break in an engine like you're going to use it, so I guess you could put the miles on 1/4 mile at a time. |

Attention! We will be moving the site to its own dedicated big bore server as well as implementing some significant BBS enhancements later this morning. The site will be offline starting between 8AM and 9AM. You may be able to continue to view the forum, but not post. If you are still getting the view-only forum by late afternoon, say 5PM, you might want to try refreshing your browser window and even shutting down and restarting your computer. If that doesn't work you might call your ISP, especially if it is a small local operation, and ask them to update their DNS (domain name server) files. In the mean time I've asked the guys at SacBORG if they would be gracious enough to host a temporary surrogate BadWeB forum on their site. Just be forewarned that there are some very... uh... antagonistic Buell hating trolls there. Hopefully they'll leave well enough alone. If not, feel free to humiliate them with truth and grace. If you don't see a surrogate BadWeB topic there, assume it was not to be. I cannot imagine that since in truth, BadWeB is the Father of SacBORG, our illegitimate son. Kinda like the Darth/Luke scenario in reverse. LOL. Anyway, Chop and Eeeeek are great guys as are most of the others who hang there, so wish our sys-admin luck and I hope to see you back here tomorrow afternoon. Blake |

18 OUT OF 22 IN MIDDLEWEIGHT GP, SLIGHTLY OUT GUNNED HERE, THOSE 600'S ARE FAST! 14 OUT OF 27 IN LIGHTWEIGHT GP 5 OUT OF 11 IN SUPER TWINS!!! FIRST TROPHY/PLAQUE!! 2 FIRST TURN CRASHES IN FRONT OF ME, BUT WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE SLIDING BIKES!! THE FIRST TURN IS A DEFINITE SHOW STOPPER. THIS RACING STUFF IS TO COOL! WENT FROM 1:34'S TO CONSISTENT 1:29'S WITH A COUPLE 1:26'S FOR LAP TIMES THROUGH OUT THE WEEKEND. MY KNEE PUCKS ARE NO LONGER VIRGINS TO THE PAVEMENT. I SHOULD BE ABLE TO POST A COUPLE PICS IN THE NEXT DAY OR TWO. STILL EXCITED, CAN YOU TELL? THANKS FOR ASKING! SEE YA TOM (M2GUY) #258 |

Awesome Tom! Congrats on the great results! Road racing is a riot.... I've got a nice S1 race bike for sale if you don't want to risk your street bike! Tom, why dont you do double duty with your M2 and Go drag racing on Wednesday! Great for learning how to get better starts. We are trying to put together a group from Ukes for this wednesday, Wednesday WEDNESDAY!!!!!!! Dahndi ? Jason? I definately think Don should go, as according to my calculations he has only 174 days before he shrinks away to nothing.... More Drag details to follow.... |

A RACE BIKE WOULD BE COOL, BUT LOW ON THE GREEN STUFF FOR THAT. MOST LIKELY BUY A FAT BOY OR BUILD A CUSTOM IN A COUPLE YEARS THEN CONVERT THE M2 INTO FULL TIME RACER. BUT WHO KNOWS, PLANS ALWAYS SEEM TO CHANGE. I'LL HAVE TO CHECK THE FAMILY SCHEDULE FOR WED. NIGHT. LET ME KNOW THE DETAIL'S AND I'LL SEE IF I CAN MAKE IT. PROBABLY HAVE TO TRAILER THE BIKE, NOT STREET LEGAL AT THE MOMENT. AS FAR AS DAHNDI GOES, MAYBE WE SHOULD SLIP HIM SOME CRISPY CREAM DOUGHNUTS? DON'T WANT HIM TURNING OUT LIKE KAREN CARPENTER |

Tom, I'm trailering mine too. Kind of permamently non-street legal... Blurrr, I believe Mrs Orloff will be there, as long as she doesn't have any problems like at the meeting A little peer pressure never hurts though... WFO |

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it this week. I have every intention of getting out there, but as it stands for this Wed., work calls. Well, not really calls, more like either work or . |

Sweet pics Tom! Drag details....officially the event is from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Due to the chilly night, last time they started a little earlier and finished up around 9:30pm...the better you do in the racing, the later you stay! You get open practice from 6:00 to 8:00 or soto get in as many runs as you can, Bracket Racing starts around 8:00pm Better to get there a little early just to get set up and stuff. You go through the front gate and tell them you are racing in the Harley series. they will ask you what class you want to race: Novice for first timers ($20 i think), Trophy.....if you win you get a trophy ($30 to enter), and Money - if you win you get some payout ($35 to enter). I believe it $15 to spectate. As you enter the track, the Hals guys have a trailer set up near the start line where all the H-D's congregate....thats where you sign up and register. If your new to the drag scene, they will also give you a tutorial at the trailer (with practice lights and everything!). As long as your not doing sub 11 second times, you can get away with a riding jacket, helmet, and gloves. I would suggest a clear shield to see the lights better. I'm going to try and be there by 6:00pm....sometimes its a bit hit and miss due to work. Hope to see you guys (and Gals) there! |
