Last time I talked to them (3-4 weeks ago) they were shipping their last set of case savers out. |

Call them. They have the tooling. They might wait until there is a larger order for similar parts so they can set-up and do a bunch at once. They can't afford to just build a single set at a time. Seriously, give them a call, they are truly cool folks. |

Maybe we can get a GB going on them? I'd love to get a set, but $330 is a little steep for my wallet. |

Maybe something similar will be available from EBR. Checkout the cover in the 1125RR pic on the Pegasus Racing Web site. |

i am somewhat surprised that AL at American Sport Bike hasn't added case covers to his line of CF stuff for the 1125 line--although the case covers might be a different animal as it has to survive skidding down the track. |

I don't really need CF, just something out of AL like these would be nice. (Message edited by westmoorenerd on January 26, 2010) |

I'm all for $100-$200 for both sides as long as it's made well. |

Here are pics of the PSR sliders I put on last this month. Yes there are chicken strip on those tires. In my defence I only got the bike in December, it is winter here in Northern Italy, and the Alps are covered in snow. I just hit 588 miles on it today. Oh, and all that is why the bike is filthy too!

Sorry about that... just normal axle sliders. |

You gotta love the Italians. The DHM sliders are just black blobs on the axles. Here we have classic Italian styling, gooved and polished with etched logos in stark contrast to the sand cast fork ends with rough "Buell" logo. Very nice. I do think the black DHM alum axle sliders are appropriately "Buell-ish". (Message edited by freight_dog on January 26, 2010) |

I have a set of DHM Al sliders in black on my list. For the life of me, I can't decide whether to move the mirrors to the bar ends on my CR and fashion up some front turn signals, or just leave it stock. In the meantime, I think these weighted bar ends will be going on: "Original Cylindrical style" 7/8" weighted bar ends in black powdercoated stainless steel from Manic Salamander (http://www.manicsalamander.com/bar_end_weight.htm) for $65/pair unless someone has a better suggestion. |

Bar-end mirror would be awesome. I had them on my last bike and they really do change the style and I think would fit the CR quite well. Me, I have the R so I am leaving it stock. I would however, like some smoke coloured lens my front signals. (Message edited by afhans on January 27, 2010) |

For the record I'm just as American as is Buell. I just happen to be living in Italy for a bit. |

I have the same question as Bllueman. The case saver in the clutch side. Does it slip on? How do you put it on and take it off? Does it bolt on from the inside of the cover ? or does it just slip on? thanks

Even the dealer doesn't know. They are calling Harley Davidson to ask, but no one calls the dealer back.... |

According to the picture in the Service Manual, Fig. 6-15 it just pops off with a screw driver. BTW anyone know of anyone selling replacement clutch sliders for Rev B and Rev C (Message edited by westmoorenerd on February 04, 2010) |
