Just got back, taking Lawana and brother to Carl's Jr. It was a great ride. Almost too cold. Got a couple of pix. BRB Z |

Hey, nice Firebolt! Nearly identical to mine, except I have the orange tank logo. |

Finally, a bunch of things I've been waiting on have happened. I got accepted to a University in Fl which I needed for my Green to Gold packet. I also will be promoted on 1 Feb to SGT. |

Congrat's Ryan. Does this mean you'll be going back to Fl in the nice sunny, warm climate? |

Congratulations too Ryan. Hopefully you can stay thru most of the beautiful summer here in Colorado before going back. |

Right now I've got pending orders for Japan. I'm working to get my Green to Gold packet submitted so I may get orders for FL and UCF for ROTC. Clock is ticking and I'm crossing my fingers. If things go the way I want them to, I may be here for the summer. If not, then I may be in Japan for the summer and on a return flight for ROTC, or I may get screwed completely and be in Japan for a year until the Spring. I want option 1. Got my fender eliminator in the mail today. Can't wait to get it on.
Ryan, we'll pray that you get what you're hoping for. Hi John, been out riding your bicycle? We took the toy hauler down to the Springs today to have a new shower surround put it, the other one was cracked. It will be there for about 2 weeks. The TV was also broken so they'll get us a new one. I already miss it. LOL |

Julie, Yes riding the bike and the Buell. Might try to get on both tomorrow. Supposed to turn colder on Sunday. The fender eliminator looks good. nice and simple. |

We got the CR's back downstairs and Dan's going to install the eliminator today. I'll post some pic's when it's done. Have a great day everyone. |

Yeah, winter can't end soon enough. I can't wait to put lots on miles on this bike. Unfortunately, Dan's not feeling real well right now so we probably won't be doing any riding this weekend, even with the heated gear. |

Julie, now that's what I call sexy rear end! Very nice. It was very windy and cold today up here. Got out for a short bicycle ride and was blown off the road. ended up helping a neighbor with a dirt bike he bought today for his young son. So no Buell ride today, was too cold anyhow. |

You are too funny John. I heard the winds are suppose to be over 140mph in the continental divide area tomorrow. WOW. Back to winter weather again. Not too much riding in the near future |

Agreed Jewels. See the reason why I want to go back to FL? Year round riding. Course, the area I grew up in the most we had for a curvy road was the Titusville Airport. 90 degree curves. Course, you could only ride it once because by the time you were out they probably already called the cops so you would be best advised to high tail it outta there. Now, for some sweepers in FL I would head up to Ocala and meet up with the Buellers up there for some good high speed sweeper riding. Good times. |

Steve, I forgot those were on there, OOPS. Dan's in the process of putting those on. We still have some steps to take before they're on permanently. When talking to Dan, he was wondering who was going to catch this. This wasn't suppose to be part of the picture YET!!!!! I must say, it just amazes me how detailed oriented some of you guys are, just amazing!!!! (Message edited by jumpinjewels on January 24, 2010) |

You gotta get up pretty early in the morning to slip something like that past me! Ask Dan to make some extras...they look good! |

So here's the finished product. Now the only other mods to my bike will be the cherry bomb wheels (when the stock tires need to be changed out) and Dan's making some brackets for the luggage.

I posted a feeler in the for sale section and I thought I'd let you guys know too. I'm thinking about selling the tires on the CR so I can get the Conti Force Max on them and put the cherry bomb wheels on. If anyone's interested, $250 for both. I have 511 miles on them. And no Drummer at this time, Ryan. |

Why the Conti Force Max tires Jewels? I myself run Scorpion Syncs on both my Buells. Although, I might swap the 1125R tires to something else if anything catches my fancy. Syncs are a bit expensive. |

Cause they're great tires. They are both street/track rated. They do great in the rain and they are fantastic on the track, which is my main goal. I'd love to have a separate set for the track but only going a few times each summer isn't worth it. This is my second set on the XB also. (Message edited by jumpinjewels on January 24, 2010) |

Ryan, Dan thinks he got about 4200 miles. Frank how ya doing with your smoking cessation? I remember when my mom stopped once when I was a kid. We couldn't wait for her to start up again. She was a monster. She did finally quit later in life. Dan's going to put the eliminator on his bike too. He really likes the look of it. |

Still smoke free. Yesterday was bad today is better. I quite for two days once when I was in the military (1st Sgt at the time). My Commander was happy to see me smoke again and I think he actually suggested it. I am friends with him on facebook and he is rooting for me this time. Most likely because he is in a different country.
