I just picked one up 4 weeks ago for $4995. Originally they were asking $7995 for it, this was after the Buell closure. Chuck at Thunder Mountain HD told me the manager said sell it prior to the new year, whatever it takes. I love the bike! |

Around 5K is what they were selling for in the Milwaukee area 'til they ran outa them. My kid's had one for two years and loves the thing. |

Well, you have to compare apples to apples when you talk about this. For me, every place I talked to was out of (my) state, so the OTD pricing was inclusive of the bike, any freight, prep and doc fees, but didn't include sales tax or title. With that said, the prices on these varied widely. The best "OTD" price I found was $5550. The highest was close to $9k. The thing is - these 2007 bikes are too old to be eligible for the 3k XB12 incentives - which is only good for 2008 and newer. So you had to find dealers that just wanted them gone to get the really good pricing. In the end I paid a bit more and am getting an '09 XB12Ss, which really was my dream XB - but I talked to a lot of dealers about their STT's. |

The problem is that the 07 and 08 STTs were not eligible for the dealer incentives. The prices were all over the board because anything close to what the rest of the XBs were running for was below cost. |
